... plus this was misleading because she looks her normal self here and this kept me holding on to the hope that this Rose would appear. :(

They used it on TV in interviews and stuff though...

I saw it on another show as well and this was actual BBC so you'd think they would have been provided with an official image.

Although I went on DS straight after to see if they made any sense of it, with time lines and already established events. The End of Time for instance, someone mentioned that the Time Lords in tonight's episode spoke of the High Council sealing themselves away to find a way of ending the war while the Time Lords in the War Room carried on. Which means the events of The End of Time still happened, alongside the events of tonight's.

Thought it was a good episode. So glad the Timelords are finally back. Well alive at any rate. I was hoping for a bit more Time War action and felt some parts of the story wasn't really needed. The Zygon plot was left gaping open with no resolution.

'The End of Time' plot took place in between the first war room meeting and the Doctor's returning to Gallifrey to use the moment, I think. The Zygon plot was okay, it was more of a way of showing the War Doctor what 10/11 are like, than a full on serious plot. It's kinda like The Power of Three being more about the Doctor/Amy/Rory than the cube things, except I think Day of the Doctor did a bit better with the subplot, lol.

james130 24-11-2013 01:53 AM

Plus, I kinda hoped; even though we knew Chris Eccleston wasn't coming back, that it was all to confuse us and we would get one shot of The War Doctor regenerating into him.

armand.kay 24-11-2013 08:54 AM

What I don't get is isn't timelords can only regenerate 12 times. They need to write in an explanation why that was changed, it wouldn't bother me so much if this rule wasn't the main part of a couple of the old doctor who episodes and the movie.

Daleks :amazed:
Cybermen :cheer2:
weeping angels :worship:
the silence

armand.kay 24-11-2013 09:47 AM

I think the weeping angels need to take break from the show.
The new cybermen annoy me we need a new design asap.
And the colourful Daleks were scrapped :amazed:

I think that will form as the series 8 story arc.

If we're to believe Peter Capaldi will infact play the 13th Doctor then he has reached his limit of regenerations. With Gallifrey now 'lost' series eight's story could be the 13th Doctor on a long search of finding it and when reaching Gallifrey, somehow extending his amount of regenerations.

The Timelords can give new cycles of regenerations out, they did so with The Master. I think the Doctor has more than earned a new cycle.

Tom4784 24-11-2013 11:31 AM

I just want John Hurt to get one series as the Doctor.

I loved him as The Doctor, the three of them worked so well together :joker:

Also, apparently Tom Baker wasnt appearing as the Fourth Doctor, he was playing 'The Curator', a much older Doctor who is revisiting his older faces. :D
