Oh, yeah, based on his time at Dortmund, yes. Last season, he wasn't world class. Struggled to settle into the English game to begin with.

Would prefer better than Fellaini, tbh. Dirty bastard with those elbows. Would love us to sign Gundogan.

Good to see you place Cleverley where he belongs. Away from the starting 11 and just a squad player.

Legend killer 16-07-2013 07:13 PM

He struggled to play with players who would rather hoof the ball and struggled to play as a strict winger nothing to do with English football

And the Fellani comment is very wide off the mark. He is the EXACT player you need against the Bayern's , Barca's and Dourtmund's of this world. Even with Kag , Nani and say Modric you can't beat them at there own game. Fellaini is the exact enforcer type you need against these sort of teams and offers a huge amount on set pieces which are vital against said teams. Also it's not like he can't dribble with a ball he has incredible touch and skill when I have seen him

Clev is a squad player and every team needs them should NEVER start big games for us though.

I think if Fellaini comes to United, he will play as a DM. He can play in that position and although he has an angry streak we need someone with the technique and physicality in midfield and who can scores.

There are questions about whether he is good enough or not, but David Moyes knows him well of course and I will trust his decision if he signs the player for United.

PSG have got a class signing in Edinson Cavani. Kevin Gameiro looks likely to leave for Sevilla now!

"Luis Suarez agent insists £40 million bid will trigger release from Liverpool"

"Arsenal and other rival clubs vying for the signature of Luis Suarez have been urged by his agent to offer Liverpool £40 million to put a clause in the player’s contract to the test."

Woah so apparently United have turned down a £10 million offer from Chelsea, plus Juan Mata and David Luiz for Wayne Rooney:o.

Novo 17-07-2013 11:05 AM

don't get why Chelsea would want either Mata or Luiz to go to get Rooney they should put their faith in good old Torres for one more season, wonder how both Mata and Luiz feel right now....

Genius from Moyes to turn down Mata in a swap deal. Moyes is such a genius.

Either he really wants to keep Rooney or the club wants Chelsea to up their offer. Juan Mata would be class at United though;).

I'll support Rooney while he is still a United player, but if he goes I will thank him for the service he has given us and wish him well but not the club that he goes too of course:p.

Ryan57 17-07-2013 11:21 AM

Or maybe Moyes is just a fool?

bbfan1991 17-07-2013 11:25 AM

Give him a chance:).

Mata > Rooney

I don't know why you didn't bite their hands off, maybe there is more to it. But I don't get why you'd do that, Mata has so much potential. I'd rather him stay at Chelsea mind

Chelsea > scum.

the Sodje family still going strong

Drew. 17-07-2013 11:54 AM

this doesnt make sense at all.. Luiz who has been one of the most improved players at Chelsea and is a key player and Mata who is arguably their best and most consistent player at the moment for Rooney? surely Chelsea didn't actually offer Mata or Luiz otherwise thats a bad bad move, they will now know they aren't wanted by Mourinho

Drew. 17-07-2013 12:03 PM

"Chelsea confirm they have made a written, cash-only bid for Wayne Rooney and refuted any suggestion of a player-exchange."

thought it was a bit strange getting rid of Mata or Luiz..

bbfan1991 17-07-2013 12:04 PM

Chelsea confirm they made a written offer for Rooney yesterday and claim that they only offered cash, plus they denied offering any players to United.

bbfan1991 17-07-2013 12:07 PM

United need to play dirty now with Chelsea and not back down on what we want if they really want Rooney.

Brother Leon 17-07-2013 12:29 PM

They have to deny they offered players otherwise they would demand to leave on the spot lol.

20m and Mata. Thanks x
