So after listening to it about 5 times yesterday, I've come around to Italy's song in a BIG way, it really sounds like a winner

I can't at the Russian entry being a criminal in Ukraine

Not bothered though, they'd just inevitably get to the final and place on the left-hand side of the scoreboard regardless. Their withdrawal adds a variable to the scoring this year.

this isn't even putting it into simple terms of what they've done... that's not what's happened at all? Russia hasn't banned ESC. Ukraine banned Julia from both sattelite feed and entering Ukraine and russia didn't accept the sattelite feed. the EBU are still trying to remedy the situation but it's going to very drawn out and very messy

exactly, now there is one open qualifying spot to play for :)

i can see Belarus and Hungary struggling cause of them singing in their own language, Portugal is really massively overhyped now, omg such a boring dated song, and the portuguese on eurovision forum are very vile and nasty towards other countries

T* 24-03-2017 03:40 PM

oh nicky

if they do withdraw it's going to be really interesting indeed!

Braden 24-03-2017 03:43 PM

Oh, have they not withdrawn yet? :p

Not me believing Wikipedia.

Right now it's a 'will they won't they' situation. It's messy but interesting!

Meanwhile, Russian television networks won't air this year's contest unless the ban for Samoilova is reversed, Rossiya 1 television network reported.

Denver 24-03-2017 04:02 PM

Ukraine will not back down

That's not banning the contest, we don't know what the hell is going to happen pal

Denver 24-03-2017 04:17 PM

Ukraine are very strict when it comes to Crimea they wont just let people get away with breaking laws.

Also after the **** Russia has given them over the years this is their chance to stick 2 fingers up at them

T* 24-03-2017 04:18 PM

I'm on Ukraine's side but after the mess that has been this year I honestly think they should've relocated it when they could.

Black Dagger 24-03-2017 05:34 PM

Why. They earned their right to be the host country fairly.

It's not their fault Russia can't abide by the rules and are playing the victim, they knew what they were planning.
