If it's true though that Eric threatened to use Amber's abortion secrets against her in the game, he deserved every word. But because I haven't seen it for myself, I won't form an opinion on it yet.

But Amber is silly for swearing on her daughter's life to vote for Eric. I hate when people do that. If you must, at least swear on your own life and no-one else's. And SHE IS A LIAR! AND NICK IS HER BROTHER? SHE was the first person to suggest backdooring him!

Captain.Remy 09-08-2007 08:28 AM

Get Amber out, now she's pathetic, I wanted her to go instead of Carole. Crying dosn't make the show babe.

Noopie 09-08-2007 09:36 AM

Amber's had 2 abortions but pretended to her boyfriend that she's had 4 abortions. Seriously, that's just disgusting, disrespectful, horrible. grr. I can't feel sorry for her at all. Why lie about murdering 4 babies when you've only murdered 2 babies? She's sick and twisted.

Wasted 09-08-2007 01:28 PM

Oh, that's what it was. That's sick to lie about something like that, she must've just made it up to hurt her boyfriend even more or something. I thought that she had an abortion and that Eric was planning to use it against her, but now I see that Eric wasn't using the abortions against her, but just the actual lie she told her boyfriend. Now I do feel sorry for Eric... and watching Amber scream at him like that was a lot more difficult to watch than Dick going off at Kail or Jen. And she has the cheek to say she's not a liar?

And I still think Eric is horrible too, he tells Jen not to bring up people's personal lives while allowing Dick to do the same, with no complaints, and then he himself goes around plotting to use someone else's personal life against them. He's a total hypocrite, and even though what Amber did was horrible, it was a mistake to tell other people that he'd use it against her, as she'd go furious if she found out, and she did. But he's not as horrible as Amber.

Lots of things going on this morning. I guess I will post them in order of occurrence. First off, Amber continues to make headlines. The video appeared on the CNN Headlines News' Showbiz Tonight. Her story has now made across the pond to England.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/a70...g-brother.html

Then at about 1am big brother local time an earthquake hit the house. It had a magnitude of 4.5. Fortunately, there was no injuries or damages from the big brother compound or any where from the earthquake. It set off car and building alarms. That is only the second earthquake that I can think of that sort of effected the houseguests. In season 6, when only Janelle, Maggie, and Ivette remained another one hit. It was much stronger and caused the power to go out. Janelle was in the diary room and had to be escorted back into the main part of the house by big brother.

Probably the best news in my opinions, they have flipped again and Eric is now set to stay!!! Seems as if the earthquake set something off for them. Right after it happened Amber, Jameka, Jessica, and Dustin began to talk about flipping. Jameka and Amber both said it seemed as if big brother wanted Eric to stay. (Of course they want Eric to stay. The news thinks that he is being treated unfairly and he is the big twist.) They then decided that Dick and his daughter would hold a grudge against Dustin when he said you couldn't trust them. As it stands all four will vote to evict Kail. The rest of the house is unaware of this including Dick. Dick could possibly kill someone on live tv tonight. I just hope they won't change their minds again. Also will there be any punishment towards Amber and will big brother buckle and show Amber's true colors. She also decided that Eric is going to hell last night. Nonetheless there will be a lot to show tonight. With so much going on during the last 72 hours and all the media attention, plus all of the live stuff they have to do. It will be jam packed and should be very exciting tonight.

BROOKE ANDERSON, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT ANCHOR: A shocking religious controversy surrounding one of the biggest reality shows on TV. And why Kate Hudson thinks, well, boys will be boys, and it's OK for them to sleep around. I'm Brooke Anderson in New York. TV's most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.

[...]

We have a SHOWBIZ special report you do not want to miss, stars and drugs. That's in just a bit.

And an anti-semitic shocker on one of TV's hottest reality shows. What came out of somebody's mouth that's absolutely disgusting. So the big question is now what is going to be done about it? That's coming up.

[...]

ANDERSON: The reality show "Big Brother" could have a big controversy on its hands. If you are not familiar with "Big Bother" it`s a show where eight people live in a house, and the cameras roll 24 hours a day. Well, one of the contestants, Amber, 27-year-old cocktail waitress from Vegas, must have forgotten that when she had a long discussion with one of her housemates about how she doesn`t like Jewish people. And she is not too fond of New Yorkers, either. The footage hasn`t made it on to the show, but it is all over the Internet. Take a look at this.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

AMBER: People from New York are all (BLEEP) up, everybody I know, the majority of the people I know from New York, and Jewish, the majority of Jewish people I know, my gosh, so money hungry and so selfish.

Even my sister always tells me she`s like, my mom, my sister, always, we`ll meet somebody and I`ll be like, I don`t really, I don`t know. I don`t get it, I don`t like that person. That person doesn`t seem like a very good person. And my sister always, my mom, know why? Why? They`re Jewish. I`m like how do you know? Amber, you can tell by the last name. Amber, you can tell by their nose. I`m like really? I`m like that`s so weird. (INAUDIBLE). I think Justin (ph) is Jewish though.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Uh-huh.

AMBER: I think he is.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He said he`s Christian.

AMBER: Yeah, but I said that about his nose, and he goes, that`s the Jewish side of me.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Kind of makes you wonder what she says when she isn`t wearing a microphone, doesn`t it? Anyway, we called [CBS] to get a comment on what could blow up into a major controversy for the show. As of show time they did not respond. The Anti-Defamation League tells TMZ that CBS is facilitating anti-Semitism and should act responsibly to the community.

(Gah, the media knows nothing about the show. That was nearly as bad as the foxnews report. They always wear their microphones and Jameka is the unidentified female.)

Amber's sister apologizes for what her sister did in the house on myspace.

'I FEEL I NEED TO ADDRESS THE COMMENTS AMBER MADE ON THE SHOW I KNOW IT HURT MANY PEOPLES FEELINGS AND FOR THAT IM TRULY SORRY, SHE WOULDNT SAY IT TO BE HURTFUL AND IT WAS MADE TOWARDS ONE OR TWO PEOPLE BEHIND THEIR BACKS, NOT ANY EXCUSE BUT ERIC DID HER WRONG AND SHE MADE SOME MEAN COMMENTS OUT OF ANGER. PLEASE DONT LOOK AT HER DIFFERENT, FND IT IN YOUR HEARTS TO FORGIVE AND PLEASE DONT TAKE IT PERSONAL. I FEEL TERRIBLE. SHE IS UNDER SO MUCH STRESS AND FELT BRTRAYED SO SHE LOST IT AND MADE SOME COMMENTS IN THE PROCESS, IT HAPPEND AND NOW ITS BRING APOLIGIZED FOR. CANT SAY SORRY ENOUGH.'

Poll results on the CBS site after Episode 15;

Love 'Em or Leave 'Em - Popularity Poll

Dick - 23.1%
Jen - 19.5%
Daniele - 17.4%
Eric - 15.5%
Jessica - 7.2%
Nick - 5.2%
Jameka - 4.5%
Dustin - 3.4%
Zach - 2.3%
Kail - 1.0%
Amber - 0.4%
Mike - 0.4%
Carol - 0.3%
Joe - 0.1%

Grand Prize - Who people think will win

Daniele - 24.5%
Jen - 16.1%
Dick - 15.5%
Jessica - 14.2%
Jameka - 10.6%
Eric - 8.9%
Dustin - 5.9%
Zach - 2.5%
Kail - 1.1%
Amber - 0.8%

For the first poll I'd vote Jen, and the second poll I'd vote Daniele or Jen. I think that Daniele/Dick/Jen are just going to pick off the rest of them with ease, unless one of the LNC gets HoH this week.

Captain.Remy 09-08-2007 04:47 PM

I voted for Jen in both polls !! :spin2:

JeanP! 09-08-2007 04:53 PM

why Kail is so unpopular?, why people dislike her?, why i like her and other people don't?, what's wrong with her?, :bored:

dtd2 09-08-2007 05:04 PM

She lost a lot of fans on opening night by saying that she would not be happy if her son told her he was gay. However, I think that it was just living in a small conservative town that she felt that way. Since entering she and Dustin have spent a lot of time together. While Amber's is not ignorance. She also bashes gays, even though her best friend in the house is gay.

Everybody thought she would be a brilliant game-pleyr but she's not, she had a lot of potential but she doesn't use it, it's sad because she would have been the leader of the show and now she needs to pray in order to stay in.

I watched tuesday's episode and it was awesome, finally Jen takes the power, I loved the Veto competition it was really wicked. I'm glas Dick, Daniele and Jen are together against Eric he's so weird he needs to go. This episode was one of the best yet.

Wildcat! 09-08-2007 05:06 PM

they dont like her, because she started an alliance from day one, and in the states they know she is rich and wants to win the prize money, she is greedy.

no she's not, what's wrong of being rich and wants to win more money in BB?

Wildcat! 09-08-2007 05:15 PM

dtd2, are you sure Eric is set to stay?

I am not telling you what i or you think of her. I am trying to explain why she is not liked in general. Isnt that what you asked for?

dtd2 09-08-2007 05:20 PM

I personally don't think that there is a problem with going into the game if you already have money. Big Brother is just now waking up the houseguests, but Jameka and Dustin just chatted and the plan is still to get rid of Kail.

Oh yea sorry, but i feel that i'm the only person that likes Kail in the world

Wildcat! 09-08-2007 05:26 PM

So that means Eric is a dead man walking even if he stays isnt he?

dtd2 09-08-2007 05:30 PM

Not necessarily. Dustin, Amber, Jameka, Jessica, and Eric are an alliance. Dick, Daniele, Zach, and Jen is an alliance. Jameka can't play because of the veto competition and Daniele can't compete because she is the current one. Do any of you watch housecalls? Gretchen actually watches the feed this year, but both she and Kaysar completely forgot that Jameka can't compete for head of household.

Wasted 09-08-2007 05:35 PM

I really hope Jen, Dick or Zach get the next HoH. If one of the LNC win it, then one out of Daniele, Dick or Jen is definitely going home.

The chances are good though... if Eric goes, only Amber, Dick, Dustin, Jen, Jessica and Zach compete. Amber, Dustin and Jessica all suck at competitions so it's an easy win.

If Kail goes... Amber, Dick, Dustin, Eric, Jen, Jessica and Zach compete, and the only threat to win HoH is Eric because he has come close to winning before.

I want to see the LNC, the safe players who don't do much (except Eric), get picked off one by one so at least someone who's actually played the game as it should be played will win.

Amber will go mad if Eric stays, and she has to save him anyway since she swore on her daughter's life to vote to evict Kail. Stupid cow. But she's such a dirty liar anyway I wouldn't be surprised if she went back on her word.

Wildcat! 09-08-2007 05:35 PM

where can you watch housecalls other than on cable tv. I used to live in Arizona, and I used to watch it on CBS in the morning, but here in London, I dont know where I could watch it? Is Kaysar hosting it?

dtd2 09-08-2007 05:53 PM

You can watch Housecalls on cbs.com/bigbrother . Gretchen hosts it each weekday. On Mondays she is joined by Bunky from bb2 and potential bb7 houseguest. Tuesdays Holly from bb5. Wenseday special guest host. Thursdays Kaysar bb6 and bb7. Fridays Gretchen and evictee. You can watch it live at 6pm England time. You can watch Julie Chen interview the latest evictee shorty after it airs on tv on the early show, on cbsnews.com . You can't see After Dark anywhere though online in it's entirety, except for the possibly of some eps on torrents.

Noopie 09-08-2007 06:03 PM

I love HouseCalls, but sometimes I'm so frustrated by their lack or knowledge! They always get things wrong and Gretchen always gets people's names wrong! It's annoying.. I know more about them and I'm just a casual fan! It's their jobs for goodness sakes!

dtd2 09-08-2007 06:32 PM

I know. Haha. Every once in a while, our big brother has some personality with the houseguests. Last year when he would talk to Will, sometimes he would say Dr. Delicious. Well the houseguests have been on an indoor lockdown so they can set up the head of household competition. As soon as they got out, big brother said remember houseguests to swim a mile in the big brother house it only takes 440 laps. Then he said houseguests clean your house. As he said that the houseguests noticed a lot of ants. Now they think they purposely put them there. Then he announced all houseguests to the penhouse. So after leaving the head of household room for only a few minutes they were sent back. Now big brother is blaring the old big brother theme music so they can't hear the people's voices who are setting up the competition. Is big brother playing mind games on them? Right now all of the houseguests are talking about whether the laps are widthwise or lengthwise. They are also chatting about how many yards are in a mile.
