Why is she called Wokestar?
If Sam saved either of those two I'd prefer Winston over Brett. Not that big a fan of Bayleigh, I think she gets the Da'Vonne fans because she does some 'ghetto speak' in the DR. |

Btw that comment in bold is racist, don't use phrases like that again please, thanks :) |
OMG the ignorance

Will continue watching this with 1.25x or 1.5x. Probably. Maybe. Not sure.
|
What a dope episode. It buried BB19 as a whole season on its own.
|
The last two Sunday episodes have been superb. Maybe they shouldn't feel like they need a competition every episode!

Yeah best episode of the season so far :D I was kind of scared that Scottie would fall for Brett's charisma (:joker:) but I'm glad he had the balls to nominate the duo. So happy for Bayleigh and ha power  |

You're literally grouping two women together whose only commonalities are being black women.
|
Outside the DR she is different from what I've seen which again suggests it's something forced.
|
It's the Diary Room. Everyone is forced. We haven't had authentic Diary Room sessions since Grodner took over.
|
wtf at this black people thing discussion though. come on guys. I really haven't seen """ghetto""" in Bayleigh though.
Da'vonne put a character but that's for show. Can we discuss about how fake some of the BB USA personas are? Rockstar, Swaggy C, Paul etc... It's all for show. But don't compare them on skin color or the way they supposedly talk. tf. |
Just caught up on the episode and it was actually quite enjoyable
IDK whether it's just him nominating the bros but Scottie has grown on me a lot. Not falling for Tyler's BS  |
I understand that they all put on an act to a degree, but that wasn't actually my full point. I just said I've seen that particular angle enough and I'd rather Bayleigh put the 'queen' stuff aside.
|
She's a beauty queen.

You can't properly discuss the language and whole culture arising from things like hip hop if one group of people is allowed to use some words and others aren't. It's like building a barrier around it. There's many ironies around the issue for me about how it's meant to be empowering but ends up more segregating and emphasizing a race concept more than anyone else. You don't even have to look at the attitude of hip hop as having to be narrowly defined because hip hop has spread through many different cultures anyway.

Oh dear.

(but yeah, Bayleigh is pretty far from 'ghetto' and not that similar to Da'Vonne so that's a bit questionable too) |
