As a legacy character he really got a bad deal

Marsh. 04-02-2019 08:59 PM

Ok, whilst I wish the Lucy plot and all of the things that stemmed from it (Jane's disability, Max's revenge etc) would've been wrapped up neater allowing the characters to move forward I'm really NOT here for Bobby getting out soon.

Unless Oates is going to do something good with it. If he becomes a serial killer I'll be annoyed.

Firewire 04-02-2019 09:03 PM

I think Bobby getting released is just Yorke giving Kate a story opportunity.

He might go off and live with Jane although he'll be 15 when he comes back so he's just about old enough to be significant enough on his own.

Marsh. 04-02-2019 09:06 PM

Yeah, but Bobby getting out is a little too big for him to just be forgotten about by Ian on the outside otherwise they could just keep him inside.

Then again, this is the show that had Ian ignore a phone call from Jane who he had been frantically trying to find after Max almost killed her and she disappeared because Mel, who he hadn't seen for 16 years, walked into the cafe. :joker: And the show that had him forget Steven was dead the episode after it happened. :laugh2:

Jean is already showing symptoms and I'm not ready

We want Jane back before Bobby!

Rob! 04-02-2019 10:36 PM

What are we betting that Bobby comes back with a new head?

I hope not. Actually thought the Bobby they ended with was quite good.

Just a shame he was recast 2 or 3 times in the storyline. I'm sure the last actor only played Bobby for the reveal onwards. :joker:

Didn’t Max threaten Jane with a video of him or something in that messy storyline

Yeah. That was the same actor I think.

I swear if Bobby returns and joins Ian in lusting after Mel and ignoring Jane I will NOT be happy.

Ross. 04-02-2019 10:46 PM

Our Jean deserves better

I cannot see them leaving Jane out of a Bobby comeback...surely?

Ross. 04-02-2019 10:48 PM

Kate Oates is the one to convince Laurie to come back :clap1:

"Don't worry love, no need for the wheelchair we can just give Jane some bionic legs!"

Gstar 05-02-2019 03:17 PM

:mooriah: if Jane returns in a wheelchair

Here for Bobby returning but NO @ a recast

This is SICK. Please remove this before I take further action.

Has it ever not been on the rocks?

I've never ever got the impression Stacey even likes him, let alone loves him.

Even when they were first "going out" she seemed constantly annoyed by him. :joker:

I agree, and the whole Max thing didn’t do the situation any favours.

Screaming

Tonights eppy was cute

Rob! 09-02-2019 01:50 AM

So let me get this straight, The Slaters spend months...literally months...insisting to Hayley that she needs help and that she needs to get herself sorted and that they're all in it together and yet now Kat is apparently looking after Cherry on her own and is begging Hayley to come back clearly before she's ready?
