The mayor of London has warned he is "incredibly concerned" by Covid cases in the city - after a record rise was reported on Friday.

Sadiq Khan said the 26,000 new cases were having an impact on staff absences in the city's emergency services.

Latest government data has shown there are 1,534 Covid patients in London hospitals - up 28.6% on last week.

It comes after ministers were warned England's hospital admissions could reach 3,000 a day without new measures.

Mr Khan said: "The big issue we have is the number of Londoners who have this virus and this is leading to big issues in relation to staff absences and the ability of our public services to run at the optimal levels.

"I'm incredibly concerned about the number of Londoners with this variant but also the impact on our hospitals.

So many people who are hospitalised are unvaccinated, it must be very frustrating for the medical profession. If people don't believe in the vaccine, fine. It would be nice if they would sign something to say that when they come down with covid they refuse medical intervention.

Yes it's a real problem.

Even the people who are vaccinated don't think the vaccine is fine. Look at Arista for example, he's fully junked up to the eyeballs on vaccines and he's still living in fear because he doesn't trust that the vaccines do what they're supposed to do.

It's bullish!t until you prove it. I want to see all people who are in hospital and ask them all if they're vaxed or not? That would be more proof than taking the word of the vaccine sales department.

The medical profession are tossing it off doing tiktok dances and spending their time in test centres testing healthy people whilst sick people are going without care.

Sure Both Vaccinated and Unvaccinated can Die

It could have come from that Lab

But Evil Leaders in China

Some anti-vaxxers in Bristol today holding signs saying 'leave our kids alone' and had what looked like an 8 or 9 year old speaking into a megaphone about 'putting poison into our bodies' which is so messed up :skull:

I'm out having a pint now and last Saturday before Christmas it should be heaving but empty tables all around, kitchen closed because everyone kept cancelling their bookings

Declaring “panics over” after 3 days of record numbers is one take on it I guess.

MTVN 18-12-2021 06:12 PM
