I haven't watched the dances back yet ,but just checked the scores..... Marvelous I guess it's goodbye to Fleur or Molly then ,as they're in the weird part of the leaderboard:bored: :bawling: . Kim will get sympathy votes.

GoldHeart 03-12-2022 03:57 AM

Fleur: A complete class stunning quickstep , i loved every bit of it . And i enjoyed her bubbly personality she brought to it  .

Molly : Traditional flapper girl 1920's Charleston , very stylish and beautiful. Brilliant performance :)

Hamza : I really liked it , especially the solo bit he had. The hips and energy were on point . The Lion King song had me :bawling: aswell lol ... and makes me want to watch Lion King LIVE in the theatre.

Helen: Her transformation is incredible , much more confidence and more slick movements, a good couples choice dance . The audience's reaction spoke volumes. You can tell people want her to do well .

Will: A sweet romantic Foxtrot , Will performed decently... can see he's really trying.

Kim: I wanted to like this , and parts of it was fine/ok .... but it felt slowed down and like it needed more energy and excitement and speed. Still a nice tribute to Irene Cara though x .

Vanessa 03-12-2022 04:41 AM

Helen and Will are actually improving. I think Hamza is overrated, he does nothing for me.
Molly Charleston was good, but for me Georgia and Gio one was far superior.
Will was fantastic, if he had one more day he would have easily got a perfect score.
Loved Helen couple choice, but Gorka waa annoying me a bit with the posing. Don't ruin it for her:fist:
Fleur was AMAZING, Kim was ok.

Nicky91 04-12-2022 07:39 AM

ok my thoughts

Molly: amazing charleston, i feel so incredibly sad for her, and i kinda wish she wasn't honest about having went to Sylvia Young school, i find her dancing so so well, such a genuine fun and sweet partnership she has with Carlos too, loved her giving some credits to other newbie Lauren as well in backings

Hamza: weird music choice for a samba but a very cool performance, especially with the lion projection at the end, very convincingly played for a non-actor too

Kym: :bawling: NOT MY MILF leaving this week :bawling: she looked so HOT and Confident, and selled the part well, and did the now late Irene Cara very much justice, this was divine

Will: good on him for getting that whatever that three step thingy is right, seems like a very difficult move, good on him a pure novice for smashing that step, such a simplistic yet elegant and classy and good looking ballroom routine, yup i liked it

Helen: overrated as hell, i prefer Faye & Gio's jazz to fever big time over this repetitive one, i still find her also oh so dull, and don't lie why you signed to the show in your VT hun, it's more because your husband cheated on you, and you finally having had the time being you know NOT PREGNANT ;)

Fleur: didn't do much for me this routine, as Len would say about the beginning, too much faffing around going on, taking too long to get down the stairs, everyone else had plenty of dance content, the quickstep parts here were nice but did they blend in well to the rest of the routine, no i didn't think so, whereas everyone else had more complete performances (dance content and musicals content combo wise)

my preferred dance off would've been Fleur vs Helen i guess, but more based on who i least enjoyed watching this particular week

and Molly for the 4th time in the dance off, this is literally called bullying over her having been honest about her dance training :bawling:

Nicky91 04-12-2022 08:43 AM

was bopping though during Fleur's training vt, sweden eurovision 2020 song as background music, the mamas move

Vanessa 04-12-2022 09:56 AM

I think it's very obvious that Molly has a lot of dancing experience.
I don't hold it against her, Helen and Hamza aren't novices either.
Will has said he isn't dance trained, I think Fleur has a little bit.

pontooner 04-12-2022 10:11 AM

Weakest dancers have gone in the last two weeks.

Next week will be really interesting. Molly's lack of public appeal (not sure why) will probably see her in the dance off again. Shirley wants Hamza in the final come what may, she'll want him kept out of a dance off v Molly where the other judges could eliminate him before her casting vote.

Do we know what dances everyone is doing next week?

Liam- 04-12-2022 10:15 AM

Can’t wait for Fleur and Molly to be in the dance-off next week, we’ll finally get rid of one of the overrated dead wood

Hamza : Charleston
Will : couples choice. 90s inspired.

I prefer Fleur, I really like her.
Molly is a nice girl, but I find her and Carlos rather dull.

If I were a pro discussing final dance choices with the producers I'd be thinking tactically as follows:-

Hamza has not done a Waltz or Viennese yet. His second dance will have to be one of those two or the Paso. He's now the weakest of the remaining dancers but probably just needs to survive next week to win. Marked properly I'd expect him to struggle with the waltzes. He will probably do the Paso so he can chuck in a load of out-of-hold posing.

Will hasn't done either Tango or the Paso. He should do the Paso or the ballroom Tango. Few male celebs can make a decent fist of the Argentine

Helen hasn't done the Argentine Tango - I'd be confident of her doing a great job of that with the right choreography. Also not done the Waltz, Tango or Rumba. Out of those probably the Waltz - can't see the producers allowing both Tangos.

Molly hasn't done the Paso, Salsa, Viennese or the Smooth. She's a great dancer and will handle all of those really well. She should be in the final.

Fleur hasn't done the Foxtrot, Tango, Paso or Charleston. Avoid the Foxtrot I'd say.

I really don't like Carlos....I think he's incredibly arrogant.

Strictly Jake 04-12-2022 03:52 PM

I think it's definitely between Fleur and Molly as to who makes the final. I'd rather Fleur go through but I do like Molly

I don't agree with Molly's repeated bottom two trips (or the bizarre disconnect the public has with Fleur's dances) but it's not bullying because the public prefer the more average Hamza & Helen.

If anything the UK is doing it's usual thing of rooting for the underdog, which in this case will see the dancing quality drop like how the singing talent dropped on TXF, because talented contestants aren't gonna go onto either Show just to be voted into the bottom two every week. Especially a Celebrity.

In particular the last three series of Strictly doesn't seem to respect the technically gifted dancers enough, and I say that as someone that supported Bill Bailey in his year, but the Show cares way more about thematic winners nowadays than they ever do about the quality of the dancing.

I mean let's be honest Hamza & Helen are the two weakest dancers left in the competition, yet one of them is gonna win regardless of what the other three do.

In fairness who would you say is better out of what's left?

Yes, I agree.
I think Vito is so much nicer I really like him.

Vanessa 04-12-2022 04:13 PM

I think Will would make a great paso or tango/at
So I don't mind which other dance he's doing.

Bill Bailey wasn't an underdog, his musicality i already knew pre-launch show ;) simply because he is also a musician

if Hamza or Helen win, i am done with british strictly, and i solely will watch german lets dance, mainly because there the better dancers can win anyway

Vanessa 04-12-2022 04:17 PM

Im fine with Helen winning. But Hamza in my opinion does not deserve it.

He's not a bad dancer, and seems a really nice guy, but loads of male celebs over the years have been way better than him, and Shirley's gushing over-blown praise for him is now farcical - I want him to lose for that reason.

Hardly fair , when like you say he's a nice guy and he's a good dancer. Well I enjoy his dances.

It's not Hamza's fault that Shirley is a woman hating bitter old hag , blame Strictly for keeping her as a judge. I've made my views clear on this....even Len was more level headed & that's saying something! .

Why doesn't Hamza deserve it ?? , It's not his fault Shirley fawns over the men & harshly treats the women. Strictly should just ditch Shirley and get a new head judge ... preferably a fair non biased one who doesn't make a fool of themselves.

I know Fleur & Molly has no chance of winning, and you know they're my favourites. But I also like Hamza...so if he DID win I wouldn't mind. But I honestly think it's between Will & Helen anyway for the glitter ball.

I know you like Will ,but he hasn't blown me away . He had done some decent routines but he's not my favourite & he seems a bit overrated.

Yes, Shirley overscoring and overpraising Hamza is putting me off.
I like Will, for a non dancer he's doing brilliantly.

She's a terrible head judge agreed. But as I said loads of male celebs have been better than Hamza and Will is one of them, so he doesn't deserve to win.

Id be happy with one of them winning.
They both have improved so much.
