Lots of snobbishness about transfers now I think. West Ham fans kicking off about getting an experienced England and top 4 club centre back and one of the great set piece takers of the last few years. We'd have loved to be able sign players like that a few years ago

We have also lost a few people who know the league well and are leaders in the dressing room in the last couple of years so I'm all for getting Maguire and JWP over anyone unproven from different leagues

West Ham have got previous from signing players from overseas who dont work Scamacca and Haller spring to mind and when its strikers its costly

He’s gonna go mate … why stay to fight relegation playing dire football when the polar opposite awaits him at City .

I can see him downing tools to force the deal through .

tbh I think McGuire and McTominay would be great signings, I think Maguire is too maligned now at United but a fresh start will see him regain form

Sky Sports and TalkSport both reporting that Paquetá wants to go to City ..

Chelsea have made a £48m bid for Romeo Lavia.

While the bid is expected to be rejected as Southampton hold out for their £50m valuation, the offer comes close and talks could accelerate in the next 24 hours.

Liverpool have had three bids rejected for Lavia so far this summer.

it would be blinking funny if PSG agreed to it and Mbappe accepted

If you read the article, it's a bid for Mbappe's stand in :joker:

WH don't play a high pressing game which is where Maguire makes the mistakes. Same as England really

Yup

was way different in the Golden Days of Football, with players like Taffarel, Buffon, Maldini, Gerrard, Totti, Raul, Puyol, Baggio

and back then you also had the big money from the Saudi's but then they too more relied on homegrown talent, superstars like Al-Daeyea, Al-Jaber whom also have lots of club love for Al-Hilal, many successes with them in the Asian Champions League and domestic league and cup, many titles too

same in the US, where you had superstars like Brian McBride, Landon Donovan, Cobi Jones, Claudio Reyna, Kasey Keller

Fabulous news .. fingers crossed !

[emoji599][emoji281]| Joan Laporta has approved the signing of João Felix. He is convinced that Felix is the right profile to succeed at FC Barcelona. @joaquimpiera

West Ham have a strong interest in Manchester City forward Cole Palmer.

It is understood the Hammers are exploring a loan deal for the 21-year-old.

But it’s not been confirmed if a potential deal for Palmer is part of any discussions over City’s pursuit of Lucas Paqueta.

Getting Palmer would be an absolute coup

have fun on the stands then :laugh3: :laugh3: no playing time whatsoever for him this season

so France national team will also suffer from Kylian's huge ego

Nicky91 10-08-2023 01:18 PM

as if PSG are lesser quality

i mean they already signed his replacement for this season on loan, Goncalo Ramos from Benfica

just because Mbappe wants more money himself signing on free transfer with Real Madrid, FC Barcelona or whatever club comes next for this ego :yuk:

It's a lie pushed out by the FSG propaganda machine. We dipped from Bellingham because he was too much at £89m, but we're in for Caicedo at £100m?

Nah, it's not real life.

bots 10-08-2023 01:38 PM

i agree, something is going on at liverpool. If I was a betting man, i would say that the owners are holding out for the inevitable business merging between the saudi league and uefa/premier league. I also think that is why the Man U sale has stalled. They will keep things ticking over until the big bucks come in
