I just watched that and really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately I have some reservations to listening to her songs. I just feel to old.

i loved her performance

but why has her album sales dropped so much? im really sad because it was doing so well and now shes at #36 at the charts on like her 4th week so shes not even gunna go platnum. Why did JLS do so well and not her. (i love JLS)

I think the X Factor completely crucified her by giving her all those strange inflections on the show.

Whoever said it wont get to 100,000 need to ****. She released it less than a month ago and its at 60,000+ Look at Ellie Goulding, completely dropped like a stone at first but now it's doing rather well.

Its a shame she didn't get as long an interview as the black guy and the other one

The album has sold over 60,000, which, when in the months where album sales are at the lowest, is fine.

Baring in mind she's only released one single too, most people wait till they've heard a few before actually purchasing the album. Ellie Goulding did the same, completely dropped, yet her album is now back in the top 15.

There's no way Diana WON'T sell 100,000 copies of SFTTCT.

Leona was promoted to DEATH.
That's the only reason why. She was marketed as the new 'diva'. Mariah/Whitney/Christina/Kelly C/Beyonce were all on hiatus at the time iirc so they took that opportunity to promote her. Some might argue she was overexposed [I'd certainly say she was, I've only really started to like her since Echo]

Diana however, has the issue of getting lost in the barrage of 'unique'/'quirky' females around atm, like Ellie Goulding, Florence + The Machine, Taylor Swift, Marina & The Diamonds, Ke$ha etc.

Plus she hasn't really had THAT much promotion, compared to JLS/Cheryl/Leona/Alex who all got X-Factor performances which has proven to boost sales, and their albums were all released later in the year [when albums tend to sell the most due to XF-promotion/Xmas]. I'd assume that Diana will be given an XF performance with the third single, and therefore album sales should soar a bit then.

and also leona sales went up with i got you being released but i got you was not promoted very well considering the video got released 1 week before release dateeeeeeee

I don't think she'll get on XF unfortunately, if they did have her back they'd have her back with another XF finalist who is doing ok.

1 should always be an X Factor Person and the other a famous person

Her third single NEEDS to be a ballad, I'd prefer 'Four Leaf Clover' or 'Notice', but it has to be a ballad. If she releases too many uptempos, she'll get criticism.

I think her XF performance should be quite subtle. Just her, on stage, singing.
