EspeonBB 12-05-2016 09:55 PM

Wait @ the three best acts (Australia, Bulgaria, Ukraine) sitting in the middle :clap1:

Headie 12-05-2016 09:58 PM

Lithuania first half, will probably steal some of UK's votes now as they're a bit similar

Headie 12-05-2016 10:01 PM

Serbia second half, only one second half spot left

Braden 12-05-2016 10:03 PM

Literally can't at Hovi's leather fingers :joker:

Headie 12-05-2016 10:08 PM

Israel First Half, hope he's on before Douwe

Headie 12-05-2016 10:12 PM

Poland First Half, Latvia second half.

EspeonBB 12-05-2016 10:23 PM

The second half is packed so it might actually benefit Dami performing in the first half

Crimson Dynamo 12-05-2016 10:52 PM

Australia was miles ahead

#Sydney2017

Black Dagger 13-05-2016 01:11 AM

Except it wouldn't be hosted in Australia.

Ross. 13-05-2016 01:12 AM

snatch that pimp slot UK

Shaun 13-05-2016 01:29 AM

25th is when people have usually already switched off </3 Although I think following a double whammy of Georgia (indie noise) and Austria (fluffy nonsense) could help.

Russia in 18th has got this sewn up and will probably win by more than 100pts ahead of 2nd :(

LOL @ Hayden and I predicting Belgium 1st as well.

Yeah I know  I think I read somewhere that it would be held in Germany if Australia were to win so #Berlin2017 maybe

I think it's between Russia and Australia for the win, maybe it's just all the hype around Australia or wishful thinking but I truly believe Dami will win. The UK draw is pretty good too although we'll be overshadowed by Armenia

_Tom_ 13-05-2016 02:00 AM

Good slot for the UK and not a bad slot for Australia either :clap1:

zakman440 13-05-2016 02:24 AM

I read an interview with Jon Ola Sand earlier - here's what he had to say about what would happen if Australia wins:

Quote:

As for what happens if Australia wins, Sand says they have a plan. “I don’t want to reveal which broadcaster will cooperate with SBS Australia to host it in Europe, but it will be hosted in Europe. We have an agreement in place.”

#Sydney2017

Welp Joe & Jake will do worse than Molly now, the penultimate slot is too late for people to care anymore, they just want the votes to open already.

Dami getting the latest slot in the first half <3333 I stoll hold hope that she can beat Russia but yeah, 18-23 is usually the best places so Russia has pretty much won at this point.

And not me and Shaun being psychic and predicting Belgium will open. I'm here for Sax rising on iTunes again though!

Nicky91 13-05-2016 07:11 AM

good draw for Malta, 22th

and unlucky number 13 for Dami :(

Braden 13-05-2016 10:43 AM

The UK's placement sucks just a little :/

Sweden was #10 last year and won
Austria was #11 when they won in 2014

Australia has a chance

Nicky91 13-05-2016 01:35 PM

I'm really staying loyal to Ira Losco, and nothing can change my vote to Dami :hee:

she's my queen

Braden 13-05-2016 01:37 PM

I honestly don't think placements have too much of an effect on the outcome. People have won in all sorts of positions. I was a little gutted we were second to last because I do agree that by the end people already have their favourites and tend not to care, but Dima Bilan won performing second to last in 2008 (not implying the UK will win bye, I don't think we will).

The song and performance is fundamentally what influences the result.

i agree, if people like a song they will be voting for it, no matter what draw they are in :)

Braden 13-05-2016 01:39 PM

The only issue in this day of age in Eurovision is that if your one of the first to perform then your practically ****ed, but that's because there are so many acts to get through.

Vanessa 13-05-2016 01:40 PM

Italy sang last with Il Volo and we came third. So I Don't think is bad singing towards the end.

Crimson Dynamo 13-05-2016 01:41 PM

bye at Britain being on so late they will end up on match of the day

Guys, if some of you remember Alexander Rybak's Instagram post from about 1-2 weeks ago; he said he was excited that everyone has a chance to break his points record. Everyone has a chance at winning this year because of the new points format.

Thank you Braden

Braden 13-05-2016 02:00 PM

S'alright!

Braden 13-05-2016 02:11 PM

I'm going to guess the top 5 to be:

1st) Russia/Ukraine
2nd) Russia/Ukraine
3rd) Australia
4th) Armenia/Sweden
5th) Armenia/Sweden

UK's placement isn't great but it could have been a lot worse. ****ing Russia though, practically getting the best slot. They're not even that good!

Braden 13-05-2016 02:41 PM

I've been re-listening to some of the songs and really really like Croatia's.

Headie 13-05-2016 02:54 PM

I can't get Sax What's The Pressure out of my head today http://i.imgur.com/A1g0J84.gif
