Roman Pavlyuchenko says he's ready to quit Tottenham.
"No footballer likes being on the bench game after game," the 27-year-old told the Daily Mail. "I could lose my place in the Russian squad for the 2010 World Cup. "I'm ready now to listen to offers from other clubs. But I can't say anything concrete right now." Lokomotiv Moscow have expressed interest in the Russia striker. Lokomotiv president Nikolay Naumov said: "Pavlyuchenko is a strong player, who, of course, we are interested in, but his transfer is unlikely at the moment as he costs too much money." He's a good player Pav. Tottenham are spoilt for choice with very decent strikers. |
"If we can make this club attractive to them" - i.e. MONEY.
|
Pav would be a good signing for most teams.

Another former player (chelsea) Slating Arsenal...
Saying how we still dont have enough depth, yet we have a bigger squad than both Chelsea and liverpool... Only reason we done badly last season was the amount of injuries.. if any other team had 9 injuries or 1st team and regular bench warmers.. they wouldnt perform well.. |
Weren't Arsenal going to sign Pavlyuchenko at one point?
|
Who is slating us 30stone?
And I think we were interested in him yeh, just after the Euro's. Him and Arsha./ |
Marcel Desailly maybe.

Saying everyone will be up there. Man city is a big ask i dont think they can come top 4. Liverpool already had 2 losses and doesnt think they will hold out to win.. Arsenal squad is too small right now i think I was sitting there thinking we have more players than chelsea and liverpool.. We just have more injuries last season... |

Skysports.com understands Everton are considering a move for Fulham defender Brede Hangeland as a replacement for Joleon Lescott.
Everton are drawing up a list of targets as they plan for life without Manchester City-bound Lescott. A whole host of names have been linked with Everton, including David Wheater, Sylvain Distin and Ryan Shawcross and now Hangeland is thought to be in Moyes' sights. Hangeland has made a huge impression at Fulham since his arrival from FC Copenhagen in January 2008 and he has established himself as one of the best defenders in the Premier League. The 28-year-old's future has been the subject of speculation all summer with Arsenal credited with an interest in the Norway international, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out a move. That could pave the way for Everton to make a bid for Hangeland before the close of the transfer window. Fulham would be loath to lose one of their key men but Everton, armed with the funds from the sale of Lescott, could try and tempt them to sell Hangeland with a sizeable offer. |
Hangeland would be a great signing for Everton!
|
I wish we would put in a late bid for him as well - he can only improve our squad. That said, he may not even move at all as he seems content at Fulham.
