I agree, he uses football to assault people.

Shearer made a big mistake there, most the Newc fans even hate Barton... and they're thugs themselves

HAHAHAH I'm laughing so much at SSN.

Commentator: Alan Shearer has a big smile on his face.
Jeff: Why?
Commentator: ... Dunno, someone must be tickling him.

HeatherTWx 03-05-2009 02:27 PM

i hope preston do win the play offs. Coz then they'll play against the big teams and play better football :)

andyman 03-05-2009 02:28 PM

Sunderland v Everton next.....

I say 1 - 1.

Locke. 03-05-2009 02:30 PM

Cardiff City suffered heartache as they fell out of the Championship play-offs on the last day of the regular season.

Roger Johnson almost gave Cardiff a cushion when he hit the Sheffield Wednesday bar just before half-time.

But on 71 minutes Darren Purse failed to deal with a long ball, allowing Jermaine Johnson to gather and volley the Owls ahead from outside the box.

Then came the news that Preston had retaken the lead against QPR, leap-frogging Cardiff into the play-offs.

Both sides finished on 74 points with identical goal difference, but Cardiff missed out by virtue of having scored a goal less than Preston.

Cardiff have taken only one point from their last four matches, conceding 12 goals in the process which included a shocking 6-0 defeat to Preston last month.

Evil!!

Serves them right. They were a bit too complacent today, not playing McCormack was a biiig mistake.

Lauren 03-05-2009 02:46 PM

Rafa Benitez has said that Xabi Alonso's injury is only bruising so he should be back for next weeks game. Fernando torres had a hamstring injury and rafa said it would've been a risk to play him today. And Mascherano twisted his ankle.

All should be back for next week.

Novo 03-05-2009 05:58 PM
