That's what I never get is why it's so talked about on the internet but has bad ratings on some nights and the show has lots of fan sites more than any other TV show, imo that's what keeps the show going

I agree, they should change the name because people probably don't know what BB Power Trip is and won't tune in.

Really, what we've got to think about is that Channel 5 know Big Brother works OUTSIDE of the UK too. The online community for Big Brother is one of the biggest in the country, and perhaps the world. The show has international viewers on a large scale and they know that.

Maybe the overnight ratings aren't good, but the officials will bump the show up. The fact the show also has a strong online following in the UK and outside the UK is also keeping the show going.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Power Trip theme, but does anybody else think it's kind of a terrible name? I liked Secrets and Lies, it felt more interesting and was open to different interpretations. Something like Power and ... would have been more marketable and approachable to an audience in my opinion. The word 'trip' just sounds cheap and tacky and defines what was going to happen to early on.

I kinda agree with you. "Power Trip" doesn't quite have the same ring to it. It actually sounds more like a spin-off show rather than regular Big Brother - maybe that's what casual viewers think when they see it in the TV guide?

I thought "Power and Control" would have sounded better (if a bit over-used). Maybe if they simply added "New" before Big Brother Power Trip people may be more inclined to watch. Or like JohnnyBB says, just have it as New: Big Brother.

Awful.

They need to change the name to 'New: Big Brother' like mentioned and ditch Power Trip. I know people will argue and say that it got Secrets and Lies good ratings but I've had to explain to a lot of people that it's still just the normal civilian Big Brother despite the name.

Don't think we will get it. None of the +1 for anything has been released. I want to know the interview one too!

Where do you come up with this crap? you never have a source and just hit out with random negative comments about the show, you posted yesterday that they couldn't get rid of eviction tickets when the show is booked out?
