btw jury rehearsal shows are without press public, to prevent spoilers and also for security reasons because the artists need to be giving their all there in hopes to impress the juries :) |
I'm hopefully running TiBB's Eurovision Vote again this year and I'll open it up on Thursday

im confident for Greece, Serbia qualifying chances tonight
Montenegro as a sure NQ sadly for me since i like the song but i cannot see it qualify as for the rest of the pack in semi 1, it is so open, which makes it nerve wrecking, exciting, interesting i like unpredictable eurovision years  |

The final running order...
01 Malta Michela "Chameleon" 02 Albania Jonida Maliqi "Ktheju tokės" 03 Czech Republic Lake Malawi "Friend of a Friend" 04 Germany S!sters "Sister" 05 Russia Sergey Lazarev "Scream" 06 Denmark Leonora "Love Is Forever" 07 San Marino Serhat "Say Na Na Na" 08 North Macedonia Tamara Todevska "Proud" 09 Sweden John Lundvik "Too Late for Love" 10 Slovenia Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl "Sebi" 11 Cyprus Tamta "Replay" 12 Netherlands Duncan Laurence "Arcade" 13 Greece Katerine Duska "Better Love" 14 Israel Kobi Marimi "Home" 15 Norway KEiiNO "Spirit in the Sky" 16 United Kingdom Michael Rice "Bigger than Us" 17 Iceland Hatari "Hatriš mun sigra" 18 Estonia Victor Crone "Storm" 19 Belarus ZENA "Like It" 20 Azerbaijan Chingiz "Truth" 21 France Bilal Hassani "Roi" 22 Italy Mahmood "Soldi" 23 Serbia Nevena Božović "Kruna" (Круна) 24 Switzerland Luca Hänni "She Got Me" 25 Australia Kate Miller-Heidke "Zero Gravity" 26 Spain Miki "La Venda" 16th is a good place in the show, but we're sandwiched right between Norway (one of the best songs) and Iceland (the most unforgettable one), so we're probably screwed. |
On our iTunes chart (usually a good indicator of what will do well) we have:
#46 - Norway #47 - UK (obviously) #83 - Azerbaijan #109 - Switzerland #123 - Netherlands #140 - Sweden I imagine there were a couple on Tuesday that entered and quickly left, but will be interesting to see what happens on Sunday's chart. Norway's being above even our own, and having a solid placement, is surely a good sign for Oslo 2020 :fc: |
I feel like Italy or Switzerland is gonna snatch it, with alot of the pre-contest faves being in the first half (and not really wowing in their actual performances compared to their pre-hype) it's anyones game. Azerbaijan are in with a good shot too, I think the odds are way too fixated on Netherlands pre-hype.
Anyway I'm so glad this year has been full of bops and not dull ballads :clap1: This is how Eurovision should be <3 Can a bop win every year pls! |
In order of their odds...
---- (10/1 or better) ---- 1) Netherlands  2) Australia  3) Sweden  ---- (20/1 or better) ---- 4) Switzerland 5) Azerbaijan 6) Italy 7) Iceland 8) Russia ---- (100/1 or better) ---- 9) France 10) Norway 11) Malta ---- (100/1 or worse) ---- 12) Spain 13) Greece 14) Denmark 15) North Macedonia 16) Cyprus 17) Czech Republic ---- (200/1 or lower) ---- 18) Serbia 19) Estonia 20) San Marino 21) United Kingdom 22) Slovenia 23) Belarus ---- (300/1 or lower) ---- 24) Albania 25) Germany 26) Israel |
I think the bottom 2 are pretty accurate but Albania will climb a couple higher than 3rd-bottom.
I don't see France doing as well as this predicts; the song's a bit naff, it's surrounded by strong contenders and Bilal is waaaaaaay too progressive/diverse for most of Europe voting. I'm worried Norway and Malta will struggle, too - especially with Malta performing first. The only ones I see doing much better than their odds would suggest are Serbia, Greece and North Macedonia. |
You cannot seriously be telling me that Quavo is performing at Eurovision dnfjdkdkd
|
Netherlands has won of course, no one can reach the Heights of our legend Duncan :clap1: :clap1:
:smug: |
You ruin everything.
