Johnson PM
has spoken from a Milton Keynes Hospital
put on both news channels.

He appears Confident today.

The pool reporter failed to pin him down on
on anything.

Meanwhile, Dom Cummings has tweeted
he has more for Sue
and more photos

I’m surprised the tories haven’t been releasing little 30 seconds clips of Cummings from that infamous interview in his garden .. just to keep everything in perspective.

Is this just speculation on your part?

arista 24-01-2022 06:20 PM

Johnson Denies it

Of course they had ‘M&S nibbles’

No way do you stay at a surprise event for 10 min then leave
His memory is just as good as Prince Andrews

bots 24-01-2022 06:54 PM

he has zero credibility now. It's just a question of how long until the tory mp's decide that it's irrecoverable. The report is due out this week so most will wait until then before doing anything but it will come in the next couple of weeks

Crimson Dynamo 24-01-2022 07:02 PM

its been a concerted leak attack and that in itself is equally as worrying about our democracy

i think DC should be jailed

Democracy? The only people who would democratically be hurt by removing BoJo would be those in his constituency who voted for him, and even then being ousted as PM wouldn't necessarily mean he'd stop being their MP.

Remember, we don't elect PMs, so his removal wouldn't be an affront to democracy.

Agreed ..

The whole fiasco of trying to get Boris out .. reminds me of the equally laughable WrestleMania ( The Cummings and Starmer tag team )

The leaks are a deliberate manipulation of public opinion to create a political change, they ride roughshod on death and sorrow for personal malice and revenge

AnnieK 24-01-2022 07:59 PM

Wherever these leaks are coming from, breaches of the rules happened, by those who slapped them on the rest of us and should be investigated and if rules were indeed broken, consequences should follow as they would for anyone who breaks the law.

Again, that political change isn't at the expense of democracy. Even relegating the entire Cabinet to the back benches wouldn't be undemocratic, as they're not publicly elected positions.

Quite right too. While the NHS has money to squander on pointless diversity jobs at upwards of £32k per year, they don't need another penny.

Yes, the salvaging of the NHS after the pandemic needs to be paid for, but this should be done by using the opportunity to trim the fat, rather than stealing more money from working people.

Zizu 24-01-2022 08:36 PM

So now it turns out THAT party was a surprise party for him and he stayed ( out of politeness) for less than TEN minutes..

How is that HIS fault and why should he lose his position for someone else’s misjudgement !?

Ludicrous

When’s “they broke the rules” gonna finally turn into the more accurate “they broke the law”???

Zizu 24-01-2022 08:55 PM

I wonder if the media ( specifically Sky) have considered that they are on the verge of killing their ‘cash cow’ when they systematically destroy Boris ??

As soon as he is no more then politics will return to the tedious days of old when nothing much happened .. and nobody cared

Their viewing figures will drop off the map

The PM should not be there for viewing figures. He should be there as the ahead of State and ideally above reproach. A "cash cow" is what we don't need...we need a PM who will follow the rules he made the rest of us abide by under the threat of criminal conviction at that time

There's always something. American news networks haven't called it a day just because there's a boring old fossil in the White House.
