The feather on Princess Anne's hat blocking Harry's gob was priceless.

No doubt his wife would have been watching fuming. Id imagine she banished archie off to have a party with the nannies whilst she spat feathers watching the coverage.

Spot on! :clap1:

Kind of poignant that it pissed it down all day. Good to see when they show this footage in years to come that it was a miserable day, weather-wise too.

It peed down for the past two Coronations, doesn't dim the occasion at all in fact it adds to it to see the people that turned out in the rain

A freebie

Prince Harry wore custom Dior for King Charles' coronation.

The Duke of Sussex arrived at the ceremony at Westminster Abbey on Saturday (06.05.23) in a three-piece suit designed by Dior Men’s artistic director Kim Jones.

Dior shared a picture of Harry on Twitter and wrote: "Tailoring fit for royalty. Dior is honored to have dressed Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, for the coronation of King Charles III in a custom design by Kim Jones. Seen arriving at Westminster Abbey, gain an insight into the savoir-faire of his three-piece suit next."

Dior also posted on Instagram: "For the coronation of King Charles III in London, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, was attired in a formal Dior look specially designed by @MrKimJones for the momentous occasion. Pictured arriving at Westminster Abbey, his black wool and mohair peak lapel tailcoat is worn with a matching double-breasted vest and trousers, a white shirt, and grey tie."

Someone had to dress him when Meghan wasn't around to do it :nono:

GiRTh 06-05-2023 06:32 PM

I wonder how much this cost?

At least he got his free and not paid for off the back of colonism and the pillaging of countries through history....oh and tax payers money too

Only joking, it was a spectacle to watch and others have said no-one does pomp like we do. Kate looked beautiful and the kids stole the show as always.

Don't quite think Charlie will reign as long....unless he really has been appointed by God

I think William will strip the Coronation back even further. I don't think he'll want as much fanfare plus sadly I don't think his will be as momentous, today has been so hyped as its been 70 years since the last. If William's is in 10 years or so everyone will remember this. The only saving grace is the Wales popularity so that will save it somewhat
