If the game wasn't ready, why the hell did they get our hopes up for Spring? They're lieing bastards, unprofessional and whatever idiot is making the decisions at the top of the company - seriously needs to reconsider his role.

Out of spite, I hope the game doesn't do as well as they think it will now.
They're making it out to be the absolute crown jewelles, and yes it might well be one of the best games ever - if not THE BEST. However, they need to learn that they can't keep messing their costumers about the way they have been doing recently, so whilst I will buy GTA V - I hope to God that their actions here have cost them alot of costumers. Inconsistent assholes.

Would you prefer if they released it while it was still buggy? Unforeseen problems arise all the time in the development world. Yesterday there had been no release date announced... today there is. Try and see the positive side of it. It was obvious it was going to be delayed, most of Rockstar's games do. I was fully expecting them to delay it until December tbh lol

This doesn't actually bother me in the slightest. I can stan The Last Of Us and Tomb Raider for a few months before it's out <3.

Rockstar have delayed games before, and to be honest, when I heard the September date, I wasnt even bothered, I'm just kinda peeved that they told their fans that they'd be getting the box art "later this month" except the end of the month came and all we got was the news of the delay.

You must be new to this video games mumbo jumbo. You realise the last GTA was delayed twice right? Acting like they gave us an official release date then went back on it. If they go over this date then I woudl consider it a true delay and be slightly annoyed, but a good game>>>a game that comes out earlier full of bugs.

Indeed, it's more than some games get, take Konami for example, they never even tell their European fans the release dates for their games (which, by the way, are usually 5/6 months later than the US release), Rockstar are mostly awesome.

Mate, I realize the last four or five Rockstar Games have been delayed - so as someone who actually buys ALL THEIR GAMES, and not just GTA - I'll tell you now, that's why it's more annoying.

The fact they do this all the time and think it's fine because they've a fanbase that's up their arse.

And sorry but 'Spring 2013' is either April or May, so excuse me for being ******ed off that September isn't in that time frame. Most of us were enjoying spending a Summer playing this game, now they decide to release it when most of us are at College or School etc

Nope, they also took the liberty of telling us the Box Art won't be coming 'for a while' either. :) They're so thoughtful.

Games are hardly ever released the first date that is announced. I'm surprised people thought this would be different.

Do you want something like Call Of Duty where they feel the need to release it every year and on the date they promised(when clearly not ready) resulting in complaints and patches pretty much every month?

I think thats why so many people are pissed off, they are used to COD being handed to them every year without fail that when some other game gets delayed they dont know how to react lol
