Loved Ground Zeros. It was even shorter than the "yo dude it's really short" I was expecting. But I'm totally on board with the new tone the series is taking now.
Battlefield is boring but I hate military, online based shooters so I don't know what I was expecting. Or why I even bought the ****ing thing. I'm trading it in towards maybe Wolfenstein tomorrow. Which looks like so much fun and a good antidote to the sort of lame direction conservative American FPS development has taken. I'm downloading Final Fantasy XIV as we speak. It's going to be a long, confusing night. |
Wolfenstein >>> everything
I'll prob pick up Shadow Fall for cheap as well. I know it's nothing groundbreaking but it's like 20 quid pre owned now which is totally worth it. I'd really rather play a 6 hour bad action movie with a bit of character over COD/Battlefield.
Shadowfall has some really decent parts to it, I think if they'd have had more dev time the game could have been a lot better.

PSN was knocked off this morning by one of those childish "hacker" groups, it looks to be recovering now though. Don't worry though, it was just a basic DDoS attack and nothing like the incident a few years ago.
So things escalated a little, the group tweeted a fake bomb threat to an airline and the flight has been diverted, these guys are in deep ****, will be funny when the FBI kick down their doors.
No information has been breached, though that was pretty obvious since Sony will have beefed up their security since 2011

Getting serious lag online tonight....horrific
Mine's still down for repairs. Haven't had my fix of Realm Reborn all ****ing day :(.
Same, today was gonna be my hungover gaming day, first time I've had a weekend off in months :( My PS3 and Vita are reconnected now, so it could be that Sony just wants to add a few extra hours and carry out the scheduled maintinence now, instead of taking PSN down tommorow.
I gave up....
It's apparently coming back up, but it will take time to work for everyone, also, maintinence might be cancelled too (most likely becase of it being off two days in a row would be bad PR, and secondly, because they've only just recovered.)

Lol, hacked again. Lizard Squad is a great name.

Oh, didn't read into it... I just read media outlets and people saying hacked.
So, they claim to of done it to make a point about Sony not protecting in anyway against this sort of thing.
Yeah, you'd think that news outlets would do research, rather than just slapping "hacked" on a story, lol.
Seems they did the same to Xbox Live, although it was dealt with quicker by MS and didn't have as much effect.
