The mom is grieving, and I think it's easier to believe in a conspiracy rather than face the fact that her sons are monsters.

No the Photographer
got him leaving it - He was no Cop.

Vicky are you saying those 2 are Not Guilty?

So the affadivt of the policeman who has seen the actual video proof that this guy planted the bomb was lying. The video of him planting it, and talking on his phone at the scene, and leaving after the first explosion went off..is also a lie. And instead this one photo where is appears he is still carrying the bag is proof that he did it?

Bit of a stretch dont you think?

I am not saying they arent guilty. I am saying that your image is not proof, not by a long stretch. And that it contradicts what the actual proof apparently shows.

can't believe the younger brother ran over the older one!! it would be tragic if they both didn't deserve to die.

He didnt. According to the hospital staff who examined the body/injuries anyway.

When asked about reports that Tsarnaev was run over by his fleeing brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Wolfe said he did not see any obvious injuries that would back up that theory.

“I certainly did not see any tire marks or the usual things we see with someone run over by a car,” he said.
Also, the death penalty is the easy way out IMO.

Ninastar 25-04-2013 09:31 PM

hmmm odd...

Gunfight (during which brother 1 died) caught on camera.

Hang on a minute !! They may be the prime suspects but until they are convicted surely they must not be labelled as monsters.

Besides this case is far from clear if you look into the evidence so I think a trial where all the evidence can be examined is absolutely necessary. I must agree also that the facts as they appear do point to these two men as the perpetrators of this terrible crime, but I feel we should wait a bit longer for the due process of law to confirm this before we start throwing around terms like "monsters" etc....

Vicky. 26-04-2013 11:02 AM

I find this Times Square thing a little strange. First off..who is leaking his confidential information to the media..very dangerous thing to do really. Secondly, the homeland security officer said live on TV yesterday that since being read his rights, the suspect has been absolutely silent. Which means he must have 'confessed' about this plan to bomb NY on Monday. The press conference and such about it made out as if he had just said this and that it was totally new information.

There is absolutely no way this guy will get a fair trial. I know some wont care about that as it does look very much like he is guilty. But unless the jury have been living under rocks for the past week or so, they will already have made up their minds (by media trial) that he is 100% guilty. This is before even seeing the evidence that the police reckon they have.

If you think about it, the only we know for sure so far is that the marathon was bombed and the brothers were there. There was some kind of a standoff..and the older brother is now dead. The younger one in custody. And that the affadavit of an officer states that there is a video showing the younger brother placing his backpack in the area where the bomb went off, then calmly walking away without it. Everything else has come via the media..and the media story has chopped and changed so much that I don't know how much of it we can believe.

I am not saying the police have it wrong in this case. But I cant help thinking of all the falsehoods in the De Menezes case. And how it turned out that police lied to cover their tracks after killing an innocent man. That whole story made me question what the authorities say tbh.

Yes Vicky
but he crossed the line.

Very good points Vicky. I do think it'll be hard to get a fair trial conducted, I think this case has emotionally impacted America in a way that's not been seen since the 9/11 attacks. The fact a little boy died in the blast has given it a tragic poster boy and I think that's emotionally charged this case even more... if three adults had died, people would have still been emotionally affected by this, but the death of a little boy and the crippling of his sister, that just takes it to a whole new level of public grief. I hope that the trial is fair, but I imagine it'll be fast tracked and he'll be given an overwhelming sentence.

Yes I agree this guy is not going to see the light of day anytime soon. I have followed this case through all forms of media incl Radio,TV, Internet and Social Media I have to say I am confused the sheer amount of contradictory reports and jumbled confused timelines make me wonder of there isn't a lot more to this story than official sources report.

It's a conspiracy theorists dream and will be discussed on Internet forums for a long time to come. I hope the truth comes out someday but I wouldn't hold your breath...!!!

Ah so he escaped then, thought it was a bit surprising that they just let him go like was originally being reported

Still can't make sense of this. He says the younger brother at first was following in a second car, then both got into the Mercedes after transferring some stuff. Yet at the shootout there's two cars again?

No one's going to be in charge of all the facts by listening to news report and reading about it. Once the full and official story comes out we'll all know for sure that the bombing was carried out by the space alien on the grassy knoll.
