my favorite documentary is called "Sound and Fury"

it's about deaf people getting cochlear implants...it's interesting, cause it made me think about if there was a cure for being gay, would i get it. the deaf have their own community, and they don;t think there's anything wrong with being deaf, it's just how some people are. Many in the deaf community think it's wrong to make deaf children be hearing... that it's changing who they are, and that there's nothing wrong with being deaf. i found it very interesting.

Thanks for posting this, I will definitely watch this. I actually have qualifications in British sign language.

Insidious 2 - Wasn't happy with it, the first one was much better imo there was a couple of bits where I jumped but meh not enough. I do like how they intertwined both movies though.

If you're aware of Pixie Hallow and many adventures Tinkerbell has there, you'll love this addition to the ongoing story. Even for people new to the world, this is a pretty good place to start 7/10

The Lego Movie

Minneapolis Deputy Police Chief, Lucas Davenport, has to face off against a duo unlike any he's ever encountered; a lethal hit woman and a ferociously cunning killer determined to hunt him down.

it was really good 8/10

12 years the slave 5/10

as suspected they only hand out awards and hype these type of movies cause of the subject matter. but the film is not anywhere near great. its ok/decent at best.
mostly boring. no decent story , the character is not even likeable

Josy 26-02-2014 11:03 AM

Crimson Dynamo 28-02-2014 05:07 PM

Iv had horrible bosses on in the background this avvo, I watched the requisite Jennifer Anniston part to see if i could get a good look at her cakes but my god that movie stinks

utter garbage

Finally watched American Hustle. I liked the acting, but the plot seemed weird at times. Also didn't know if it was intentional how the Wife was more sexy than the Mistress. Most movies/tv shows have it the other way.

Now I need to watch Dallas Buyers Club before tomorrow to see if it is worth challenging 12 Years A Slave. Gravity was trash.

Movie 43, well about 10 minutes of it anyway... the ball chin was starting to nauseate me.

joe199998293 01-03-2014 08:09 PM

12 Years a Slave - 6/10

Obviously not a popular opinion, but I found it completely underwhelming. For the little amount of screentime she had, Lupita Nyong'o was superb and probably the best thing about the film. Aside from that, I found Ejiofor's performance emotionally detatched for the most part and as a result I didn't feel that much sympathy for his character, not that he was particularly likeable anyway. The plot seemed disjointed and relatively boring as well.

The Wolf of Wall Street and American Hustle were far more deserving of the accolades imo, but it's typical of the Academy to overlook them :bored:

Ammi 04-03-2014 05:52 AM

..Gravity..t'was good stuff/tense..I didn't see it with all of the 3D effects so probably missed out on the full effect but it was still a movie that I enjoyed...7/10...

Tattoo (2002)

What crazy movie, the movie start of with lady who naked walking rain, her back as just been skinned off, then she get hit by bus that crash and blows up.

Then police are investigation that body at morgue and find out that there finger in side her, she she bit of the attack shallowed!

That was just first 4 minutes of the movie , the action backed for the first hour so, fast moving,

it gets little slower just after hour into movie but it dose not last long, as pick up speed again for last 20 minutes.

I did not get the ending at all, I wish it was bit was clear.

Really good movie and great acting in the movie.

7 out of 10

Natalie. 05-03-2014 07:01 PM

Step brothers 6/10

Josy 05-03-2014 09:36 PM

Filth - 6.5/10 - Mental. That about sums it up I think.

daniel-lewis-1985 05-03-2014 10:04 PM

The Conjuring and was really disappointed. Expected more seeing as it was "critically acclaimed".

I give it 4/10

Moviefan 07-03-2014 04:22 PM

Anyone see Sadako 2 3D (2013) yet?

I really hope better then first movie, first movie was joke, nothing like The Ringu!

I find out how bad it is later on lol

Shaun 08-03-2014 12:07 AM

American Hustle.

It didn't grab me. Great cast doing their best but it just bored me  5 or 6/10

I think it was the monologues. Way too intrusive and kinda spoilt any dramatic intrigue the movie may have had.

Non Stop

Neeson gives his usual virtually flawless performance, the plot's concise and punchy, keeps you gripped and some nice twists and turns. Thoroughly recommend.
