Well I've only ever voted for someone on this list once that I thought doesn't like me, but they haven't posted much in this second half of the year, of course however I won't make a habit of voting for people that dislike me.:laugh:

And no Kirklancaster it doesn't make you an idiot, sometimes you like people that don't like you it's the way of life.

No, I have done the same, in past votes. I also vote for people who I know I don't make the cut on their list, and for people I don't even think vote in this thing, and for people who I just think in general this forum couldn't do without. People whom if they stopped posting tomorrow, I would start a thread to ask what happened.

My joking with Ben earlier in the thread stems from my frustration of having to rank people I have genuinely come to care about one over the other....like making a list for which of my children I like better....it's just not possible. :shrug:

I do have 10 people on my list, and I have more then 10 I feel are most loved, some who didn't even make the top 50.

No I did the same thing in round 1 (well a mix really, some that I get on really well with and some that I never speak to but admire for whatever reason). I think it would be a shame (and kinda boring) if people only voted for their friends, you may as well skip the voting and just give the award to whoever has the most friends :laugh: Round 2 on the other hand is too hard lol. Like Mokka said, it's not just picking 10, but it's ranking them that's tricky.

My top ten was so easy but my top 5 was the hard part as i felt they all deserved 10 points so i decided to rank them on who i felt had a better chance of winning

I agree about the ranking, and it's nice to know that I'm not alone or stupid for nominating some members who don't neccessarily like me, but in who I see merit in - though my top 5 was never in doubt.

My top 5 were quite easy, but selecting the other 5 from that list took some serious thinking about.

I don't view it as a game to win though... Just a way to show my appreciation for those I think should hear it. It's not a strategy based game to me :shrug:

Some of favourite people didn't make the top 50 so I do end up voting for people who dislike me but I don't mind really - people don't have to like me for me appreciate their personality on the forum

I'd say like a third of my list are people I don't really know on a personal level as such I just really like their forum personas and enjoy their posts.
