Must be even worse to loose to a man who's not even a political figure

No after 40 years of stolen democracy Brexit felt pretty damn amazing. Exciting, optimistic, freedom.

100%. The feeling I have now is kinda the same I had on the day post-Brexit, except with this I can step back and go 'well, at least it's not actually my country!' (even though US politics affects us anyway)

But yeah, that disheartened, saddening, disgusted, dejected feeling you have right now is exactly what Brexit felt like.

arista 09-11-2016 05:24 AM

LGBT community
is part of Trump rally

He went to meet them
FACT

BBfanUSA 09-11-2016 05:25 AM

A few people may say I'm being way too hopeful but The whole anti establishment storyline will continue.

If Markets continue to plummet worldwide like they are right now, Trump will have a hard time getting anything done, even with a republican controlled DC.

Trump is terrifying because he's normalized mysogeny, racism, etc. but he's about to find out that running the country (even if hands half the duties over to VP Pence) is harder than you think

It's really off to blame one element of the community for a result you don't like. Trump had a lot of African American and Latino support.

We're not but at the moment it feels like the USA is.

JerseyWins 09-11-2016 05:26 AM

Wow this is crazy. How did Trump realistically get these votes? It's bizarre.

I'm not mad because I was already mad it was down to these two candidates to begin with and don't care but.. when I think about it, man is this bad news for the US... It's kinda like a joke. I feel as if Trump isn't even qualified. :joker:

arista 09-11-2016 05:26 AM

"Trump is terrifying"

I understand you
but its a New Better America soon

There are always going to be shackles regardless of whether we are in or out. But it was a bad decision to leave when we did, we were and are still not ready.

She's probably in shock I would imagine... :(

Brillopad 09-11-2016 05:29 AM

I see this as an American vote of support for Brexit. No doubt the interference in the result of a pubic vote from Ms Miller only added fuel to the fire and to the general feelings of discontent. Two fingers up to the establishment - the people have a voice.

Like it or not this is about peoples' concerns over immigration - and will not go away.

This can only make Brexit stronger in my opinion.
