First scene of the week and Mick Carter is sarcastically exclaiming "Woody is coming". Yeah, you were swanning off (his words to Linda :smug:) whilst your family were getting shot and thrown about a crashed ambulance. :oh: But, yeah, you carry on with your pettiness Mick!

Marsh. 11-09-2017 09:39 PM

Tbh, as much as I hate Abi lately, Lorna acted her off the screen tonight.

Jossa's always been a little OTT, but she seems to have lost the ability to act since having a baby whereas, whilst Lorna is not the strongest actress, she is improving.

Lauren and Abi have a TOXIC relationship I don't see how they can leave together

Marsh. 11-09-2017 09:40 PM

Oh PISS OFF.

The explosion was strong enough to knock out the Murray's windows but Dot slept through it? :laugh2:

Lauren to go to NZ and Abi to FINALLY pass some exams and go to uni?

Cal. 11-09-2017 09:42 PM

A big fat mess @ them giving Ian about 2 minutes of screentime in the episode of his son's death and them just focusing on the Branning sisters hurling catty insults at each other

Marsh. 11-09-2017 09:45 PM

Omg, it's the curse of DONNA!

She befriends Roxy in 2016, she and her sister perish before the year is out.

She befriends Abi in 2017, she and her sister perish before the year is out?

Watch out Kim Fox! :omgno:

EastEnders has cast Hollywood star Patrick Bergin to play new villain Aidan Maguire.

Described as "high status, enigmatic and full of charm", Aidan is an old friend of Phil Mitchell who he met when they were in jail together back in 2005.

The prison pals formed a strong friendship during their time inside and their old bond is instantly reignited when Aidan turns up on Phil's doorstep later this year.

Fans will have to wait and see whether Aidan's arrival tempts Phil back to the dark side, but given that they both have a passion for dabbling in things that aren't exactly legit, it's highly likely.

Either way, we can confirm that Aidan is being brought in as part of an explosive Christmas storyline involving Phil and Mick Carter – and his presence in Walford is certainly going to be felt...

Aidan snatching the Vic from Mick? :fc:

Firewire 11-09-2017 11:04 PM

But if they're bringing in a new villain I can only assume Max's villainous streak is ending

Yh. 2006 and 2008 used to be my least favourite years at a time but I'd take the worst of noughties EastEnders over anything since 2010 any day of the week.

What a terrible aftermath episode that was

Abi was the only saving grace

Ross. 12-09-2017 12:19 AM

And Dot actually

Marsh. 12-09-2017 10:39 AM

Just seen spoilers for next week, what on earth is Martin still doing in jail? :umm2:

What he did warrants maybe one night in the cells at most. :umm2:

I know and Joyce got let out off-screen after shooting someone. SOC really does love protecting his own creations!

BBUK-Fan 12-09-2017 03:10 PM

Martin still in jail but Joyce is free. The mind boggles

Marsh. 12-09-2017 08:35 PM

None of this has had any development.

It actually annoys me. They spend months on sh*t like Mick and Whitney and then the plots they actually want to be long lasting and properly change characters, they end up rushed and badly written.

Steven and Lauren spent the best part of their year back in the show doing nothing and then they crammed all of this into a couple of months. This grieving mistress act of Abi's isn't believable either. Yes, the characters had stuff in common and to some degree were damaged by their selfish parents but it was never actually given much attention or focus to be earned as a story.

Marsh. 12-09-2017 08:43 PM

"Get DAT SAUSAGE DOWN YA!"

The dying woman manages to scrawl 'M' on a notepad before passing out.

What could it mean????? :laugh2:
