i think they will dispense with the public vote part of the leadership election and get boris out as fast as possible. It's untenable and that can't be allowed to go on for months
|
As much as I disliked Boris at least him being so stupid made politics a bit more fun, I'm already bored looking at all these people
|
He is still Prime Minister
Until he goes to the Queen. I am going to call him Care Taker but he is still the legal PM. Until October OR before then Ref: James Cleverly MP Live SkyNewsHD Westminster first |

Once he is no longer the leader of the party, he cannot make any major policy decisions. There is also the safety net that anything new or changed has to go to parliament for approval, and the tory mp's wont let him do anything. so he is a caretaker now because he can't do anything new, he can only monitor items already in progress |

Politics isn’t meant to be fun, they’re supposed to do their jobs without making too much of a fuss, I’d prefer my politicians to do their work in the background and only make an appearance for something important, they shouldn’t become the story, but of course Boris loves the attention and the glory the position holds too much

You make some fair points but I wouldn’t assume that whoever takes over from him in the short term and after the next election will do any better than Boris just because they’re more serious and less charismatic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
