"she sould have walked up the path, crossed Blackpool lane and walked off following the River Wyre for miles and miles with no CCTV"

Alf 19-02-2023 01:05 AM

Youtuber, Charlie Veitch takes a walk around the area of St Michaels.

He takes you along the river, to the bench where the phone was found, to the caravan site. He interviews a local for his opinion on what he thinks has happened. He films the Mainstream media in the area doing their filming and has a little friendly disagreement about filming with them.

Police searching for missing Nicola Bulley say they have found a body in the river.

The mother-of two disappeared during a riverside dog walk in St Michael's on Wyre in Lancashire three weeks ago.

Lancashire Police said they "sadly recovered a body" after they were called to the River Wyre near Rawcliffe Road at 11:35 GMT on Sunday.

A statement said formal identification had not yet been carried out "so we are unable to say" if it was Ms Bulley.

Police said they were in the process of identifying the body and were currently treating the death as unexplained.

"Nicola's family have been informed of developments and our thoughts are with them at this most difficult of times. We ask that their privacy is respected," a Lancashire Police said.

I’ve said from the start she would be found in the river

This case is one of the saddest in a very long time.

AnnieK 19-02-2023 02:07 PM

Its terribly sad.....but if it is her at least the family will know what happened.

Heart goes out to her family and friends, this will be an agonising wait for identification

Tragic end, I guess i was always hoping she would be found alive. Maybe that swayed my analyse of there being no way her body wouldnt have been found by now.

Charlie vietch probably explaines what happened the best in his video.

I still find it strange why this made the headlines though at the beginning of it.

Ps, fun fact in a sad sad thread. I clean charlie veitches mum and dads windows.

Three weeks and god knows how many professional and amateur searches, and a body is found within a mile away?

If it is her, it seems pretty fishy.

Listen Oliver give it a bloody rest
You been bleating on about her running off with another man

It’s simple she took her own life , that’s what people do when they are mentally ill

And so called experts can get it wrong

As Jax said, the post mortem will determine if she was alive when she went into the water.

If she was killed elsewhere putting her into a river that has been extensively searched is probably the place a killer would use thinking they will be focusing elsewhere.

There is a guy near me who is missing and a bidy was recently pulled out of the canal, it wasnt him though even though his family were informed so it could be someone else, although seems unlikely

Cherie 19-02-2023 02:32 PM

So sad...how did the diving ‘’expert’ miss her body a mile downstream....beggars belief
