Does anybody ever ask what's the real reason for these fighting age men to be invading our country on a daily basis? Or are we too distracted with watching Squidgame?

What a tragedy.
This is awful.
The UK and France need to work together far better on this.

There's no point the UK going holier than thou on it.
We are stained by our rhetoric on these poor people.
Looked down on by the UK government.
Then they become the victims of crime.

All because they're hoping to TRY to find a better existence.
Absolutely tragic.

Crimson Dynamo 24-11-2021 08:44 PM

using criminal gangs to do so

If the French authorities bothered to stop the overloaded dinghies from leaving their waters, the migrants would be alive.

It's easy and pathetic to place the blame on France while making out the sun shines out of our asses.

Regardless of who does or doesn't do "enough", the French authorities simply shouldn't be allowing the migrants to attempt the passage. At that moment, the blood goes directly onto their hands.

I want to know what you are personally going to do to sort this out?

You give it the big I am but actually do nothing.

If the UK police were standing by watching overloaded boats take off into a shipping lane there would be understandable public outrage...from the French...nada

Well it depends on how bad the individual's situation is I think.

For example if you live it rough in a third world country you're gonna be desperate enough to break laws to better yourself, it's easy for all of us on here who mainly have to deal with first world problems to say otherwise, but let's be brutally honest here, if you were a poor person from Russia (for example) and you had the opportunity to enter the UK to live a better life with more money, you wouldn't take it? Tbh I know that I would if I were in that situation.

Also I don't think that this crime is so bad that the people deserve to die that commit the crime.
