Aside from a few bits it's a rare book in that I preferred the film.

I purposely haven't watched the film. I'm going to watch it after I've read the book. But from reading the book I can tell the film would be a lot better. Its written strange isn't it.

My main problem with the book was that I just didn't like Charlie that much as I don't find overly emotional characters that endearing. They handled his character better in the film.

I saw Dezzys post and realised it was a book,wouldn't mind watching the film of that,I like Emma Watson and sure I saw some trailers of it.

I know. The over emotional thing is starting to get to me a little if I'm honest.

Wanted to see this film when it came out but never got round to it. I like reading the books first usually but then it can be annoying if the film isn't true to the book. In some cases they alter the endings which is irksome.
