Now you mention it.. Bingo wouldn't be such a bad idea with all the money that's there to be won, i think you should start it up so we can all go too Boro Boro

I just got back from town with two old friends... I've seen them recently and everything and it's not like we hardly see each other, but I dunno, it made me sad. We used to meet up at least once a week to mess around, chat nonsense and walk around together, and nowadays there are more "do you remember when _____?" conversations and nostalgia makes me sad. Oh well. At least we're still in touch I guess

I think I just had morbid and upsetting thoughts on the bus there, because I used to live right in the middle of town where I could just walk in 1 minute to meet them, and now it's a 45min bus ride.

Amy Jade 09-02-2013 07:56 PM

I go almost every Thursday and Saturday night, we don't drink loads though, usually just a bottle of malibu between me and my friend and a bottle of rosé in the mini bus and then a £12 deal - 2 bottles of VK, 2 cocktails and a shot of sambuca.

Then I only drink water usually or if we're getting plastered then we hit the glitterbombs or jägerbombs.

Ammi 09-02-2013 07:56 PM

..yeah, that does always feel a bit sad Shaun..it's kind of letting go of childhood (sort of)...it probably wont be that you wont still be friends but your lives will just move forward as well....the good thing is that there is so many new people to meet as well..and you still get to keep old friends....

..LOL, that sounds like a lot to me..I'm not a drinker so if I have one I'm normally fuzzy....it doesn't sound too expensive though, so that's good...

Shaun 09-02-2013 07:59 PM

Yeah, I'm definitely viewing the past with rose-tinted glasses too... I had a look at photos from when I was 15-17 the other day, and my god we all looked awful  well I was quite dashing, obviously... but we used to go to TK Maxx and pick out garish outfits for each other to try on in the changing rooms, and all those mid-00s trends that were just gross (really gelled hair, ugg boots, emo). Fun times though.

-misses house parties-

I know what you mean....it's hard when you used to know all about your friends day to day lives then things move on and you spend your time reminiscing when you meet up....

Rememher this well Shaun... I remember having a get together about a year after everybody had gone their seperate ways after leaving school.. I couldn't believe how different we'd all become and how awkward the conversation was. I suppose its just a part of growing up and moving on. It is sad at the time though

Marcus. 09-02-2013 08:10 PM

so how you all been

Lee. 09-02-2013 08:10 PM

Erm.. I didn't put that wee wavey smiley there. This is the second time this has happened to me. :suspect:

...yeah, but there'll be a lot more of that sort of stuff, only maybe slightly different..but in a good way..if you did the same things forever and with the same people, you would probably be bored with it all now...instead, you have your lovely memories and a new 'party life' at uni..and that will eventually evolve into something else..that's the really fun thing about life, you don't lose anything, it just expands and you get more stuff to remember....

..I bet you did look dashing ...I think we might need some pics as proof though....

..aww, I'm excited for you Mollie..it's the best feeling ever to be going to see an artist that you love...I'm sure she'll be amazing and we want a whole thread devoted to it, with pics etc...a detailed account of the whole evening...also, what you wear as well, because that's important....
