It's surprising how different a wig can make someone look, Emillia Clarke looks like a different person without her Daenerys get up.

Roy Mars III 23-03-2013 09:41 PM

thank god she dumped that loser Seth Macfarlane

Josy 23-03-2013 09:43 PM

Have you read all the books Roy?

Roy Mars III 23-03-2013 09:43 PM

yea. I have been a fan since 2005

Josy 23-03-2013 09:49 PM

Oh right, I stopped reading a ADWD Part 1 half way through because GRRM takes so long to release new ones so I didnt want to finish it too soon

I have the second part there too though.

Need to get back into them.

Roy Mars III 23-03-2013 09:53 PM

We don't split up the books like you do here in the U.S.

And I have given up totally on GRRM. He will die before he finishes the series, that is almost a given. I am just hoping the show can wrap up the story nicely.

I have always thought that (although I feel pretty bad saying it) but I read an article recently where he said he has the ending of the books written in notes so if anything happens to him the books can still be finished.

Roy Mars III 23-03-2013 10:02 PM

I hope so. He used to say that he didn't write anything down so we were screwed if he died. I hope he changed that.

Fantasy authors dying with works unfinished is nothing new. Robert Jordan had a 11 books done in his Wheel of Time series when he died and someone took his notes and finished the last three on thier own. Hopefully they can do the same if Martin dies

Novo 23-03-2013 10:04 PM

He is 64 not 104.. you are writing the poor guy off well before his time

Josy 23-03-2013 10:05 PM

I have always been worried about him not finishing the books, I actually mentioned it to Locke when I first started reading them because I remember googling GRRM and found some articles saying his health wasnt great and started thinking **** knowing my luck I will read all these books and they will never get completed

Josy 23-03-2013 10:05 PM

Locke. 30-03-2013 01:04 PM

Some things that happen in the first episode, without spoiling too much

Spoiler:

Episode starts with Sam being attacked by a Wight/White Walker.
There are some good scenes on Dragonstone with Davos/Stannis/Melisandre.
Robb/Cat/Talisa/Roose all arrive at Harrenhal (the castle Tywin was at last season with Arya as his cupbearer).
Jon finally meets the King Beyond the Wall.
There are pretty important scenes between Tyrion and each one of Bronn/Tywin.
Arya, Bran, Jaime and Brienne don't appear until episode 2.
Episode ends with the return of a character from Season 1.

And 3 clips (last one is from episode 2)
