My colleagues dad had the pfizer vaccine at the end of December ...but he's now in hospital with COVID...

Presumably contracted it before the vaccine kicked in ??

Although they’re not 100% guaranteed are they

If they got vaccinated end of December, it takes up to 21 days to produce antibodies so that takes us to this week, and even then for now the same precautions will apply as if non vaccinated
