Only 2 million for Freddie’s eviction!!! That’s horrendous!

I knew this would happen. Without live feed, the viewers can’t connect with the housemates making the whole eviction process pointless.

A disaster. Endemol must be very worried right now because Channel 4 have effectively killed their show.

Only 2 million!!!!!!! That’s shite!!!

Irishguy16 15-08-2009 02:04 PM

I told you it was a mistake evicting Noirin. You idiots always vote out the wrong people and now you're paying the price.

LOL the ratings were still bad with Noirin in the house.

Jords 15-08-2009 10:57 PM

The ratings went down becuz people dont like how BB engineered it so that Freddie & Marcus went up! So a lot of people have stopped watching it now.

jjj2 16-08-2009 09:39 AM

Noirins last week in the house had the Highest average ratings for any week except the first week, The weekly average has been falling ever since. Her eviction night audience was the second highest this year , The highest was karly but her main opponent that night was Noirin which means her fans were watchng to see if she would go that night .The weekly average will be down this week for sure with bad ratings on an eviction night usually the best viewing night of the week

I stopped watching once i knew Marcus/Freddie were up and havn't watched since.

I hope the ratings drop below 1 million in time for the final. For me and thousands of others were appalled that 2 big characters were up. There was even a video on BBBM saying the big characters always get voted out and we are left with the dullards. Too little too late! BB have screwed up big time.

The weekly average have been the same for the last 4-5 weeks.(2.3m in overnight ratings).

jjj2 16-08-2009 10:49 AM

The average was 2.6 million in week 8 her final week, Its simply the average audience was growing every week until she left and took viewers with her

Oh your talking about officials, Week 9 officials will be out on Wednesday and that could be 2.6m as well (Its going to be either 2.5m or 2.6m) If its 2.6m than no audience was lost.

jjj2 16-08-2009 10:58 AM

They will be down and week 10 will definately be lower with friday nights very bad ratings hitting the average for the week

I think Week 9 will average 2.6m just like Week 8.
Week 10 will average about 2.5m officially.

Fridays eviction show (especially the 2nd episode) will be given a huge boost by the officials. First of all, officials will not add the 10 mins extra, without the early finish, the 2nd show averaged 2.4m. Then add the +1 to that, will bring it to about 2.6m and then add the 200-300,000 that the officials normally add, and Freddie's interview will end up getting 2.8m/2.9m in the officials.

In the officials I think Fridays eviction ratings will be this:
1st show- 2.7m
2nd show- 2.8m

The show has never finished that early before, and the 10 mins early finish lost 400,000, so the eviction really averaged 2.4m without +1, not 2, and the officials will take that into account.

jjj2 16-08-2009 11:29 AM

Cant see them going up that far but let wait and see

Brad. 16-08-2009 01:39 PM

2.4 and 2.0mil for respective shows is shocking. hopefully if/when marcus is evicted the ratings will rocket for his eviction - maybe past karlys viewing figures

If it was better more people would be watching the show, Instead of the falling audience ratings the show has had since she left.

siez 16-08-2009 04:44 PM

Rod .1
Marcus. 2
Freddie. 3
Sia. 4.

*Sigh* here we have another typical idiotic Big Brother fan who looks at it from the perspective of the welfare of the housemates rather than the possible entertainment.

NOIRIN WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF SHE STAYED IN. Also, Isaac would still be in there.

And jjj2 thank you for agreeing with me.

I can just imagine all the little bitches that obsess over big brother scheming against the good looking girls because they're jealous of them. It's always how it is.

*mazedsalv** 17-08-2009 08:41 AM

Including +1:

Friday(1)- 2.5m
Friday(2)- 2.2m (add on 400,000 from the 10 min early finish), should be 2.6m.
Saturday- 1.8m (2nd highest Saturday rating).
Sunday- 2.2m (Joint 3rd most watched)

Good figures, loads higher since last time I checked how it was doing and theres a bit of buzz around it now looking at Facebook, people are actually watching and talking about it again. Final ratings should do OK now more people are watching, 4m might not be impossible

Anything over 3.5m would be a success I guess

Not bad figures over the weekend and it seems quite consistant now
It will be interesting to see if tonights show will be higher than usual after Chris Moyles praising Big Brother for a good chunk of his radio show this morning

He gets 8million listeners, even if all of Big Brothers average 2-2.5million viewers were listening there is still a good 5-6million that could have potentially been swayed by Moyles.
