I get that you need to fill up your 30 joker smileys a day quota jack but isn't supporting terrible human beings exhausting?

But then again this is a show where only women can do things for attention, even when Marc O'Neill is living in the same house.

Anyway, is it time for my noms? You'll never be ready, memba *I* told ya...

I think we have to wait for Reece Macie

Shaun 23-07-2015 08:57 PM

also on rewatch, Eugene was lovely.

Daniel. 23-07-2015 08:57 PM

I much preferred watching Hira to Eugene.

The Glyn comparison is totally stupid, just because they were near the same age as housemates and from Wales it doesn't mean they're similar. Glyn went on a ~journey~ whilst Joel was already assertive of himself and asked stupid hypothetical questions and interrogated everyone and quite frankly I can't remember a single civilian housemate doing that (Perez did)

Joel's a weird one for me, I don't think I could name a ~moment~ of his yet he still managed to be a pretty damn big part of the series. Some achievement, really. He is most definitely a unique housemate

I didn't say they were, he was extremely stroppy and mind numbingly boring.

That pretty much sums up what a sh*tfest BB16 was.

Eugene had no personality, unless telling stories about his geeky ways counts as a personality :joker:

I'm not even a Hira fan, but yeah, she was more entertaining than Eugene for me.

Jake. 23-07-2015 09:00 PM

yeah being a "big part" of BB16 really doesn't mean anything

Hira > Eugene :smug:

Hira had little air time but when she was actually entertaining, her singing and dancing (she won the entertaining award for that :worship: and the cake was hilarious.

Hira was even boring though? Literally every time she was shown was hilarious or righteous. When are we all going to realize that being underedited doesn't mean you're BORING like you litruhlly sound like Helen Wood or Marc O'Neill with that mindset

EspeonBB 23-07-2015 09:01 PM

Hira iconic cake eating >>> anything Joel did

This. I probably wouldn't have had him in the final 4 if I could've picked but he was a worthy housemate.

I actually think BB6 is one of the few series (if not the ONLY series) where each and every person contributed in some way.

Looking back, if people like Vanessa and Eugene were the bores they're still leagues ahead of people who literally added nothing of worth like JJ and Hira and Sam.

Finding Hira as dull as ditchwater makes me Helen Wood?

:hee: Ok sis.

Most of the people criticizing underedited housemates for being boring are Helen and/or Marc fans as well :joker:

I don't think it was that bad? Granted it was better before 4in4out and that certainly weakened things but it wasn't that bad. The thing is in the first two weeks I wouldn't say a lot was happening but yet it felt very C4 esque and was still enjoyable?

Liam- 23-07-2015 09:04 PM

It's not even a case of Hira being 'underedited' she was shown, but apart from the cake task, which again, is manufactured humour, every time she was shown, she was either dull or completely cringe worthy, her 'shock' eviction was the only iconic thing about her :flutter:

LOUDER! MORE FIGHTING! NOT ENOUGH BANAL CONFLICT! YOUR PURPOSE IS TO BE A GOOD HOUSEMATE, WHICH ONLY MEANS BEING LOUD AND FIGHTING WITH PEOPLE! IF YOU'RE NOT SHOUTING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS YOU'RE A BORE!

like, that's the logic that ruined BB15 and 16

That's why it was enjoyable, series which aren't forced by producers generally are

When you put it like that I suppose. The first two weeks did feel very scaled back where not much event wise was happening but I was enjoying the housemate interaction like the good old days.
