..that doesn't make much for a conversation then...but people can be like that at first when they're being defensive...maybe he/she'll think about it though and then you'll be able to talk properly....

People sometimes say stuff defensively that they don't mean. I do it then regret it. I'm stubborn so find it very hard to apologise afterwards :(
