I don't think they do - according to the Wikipedia page:

"Any money won by contestants is withheld for up to six weeks pending the receipt of Criminal Records Bureau checks by Endemol."

Thats the thing though isn't it? Never mind them just getting it offstage (which will be intriguing to see in itself) but what about actually going home? I'd assume it's just transferred to an account but either way, your neighbours know what you have :laugh:
