Firewire 21-11-2015 11:29 PM

that was heartbreaking

Scarlett. 21-11-2015 11:36 PM

._.

Wow.

I'm not entirely clear on everything that went on - why couldn't Ashilder (or however the hell you spell it) remove the tattoo from Clara? And was that whole "I guarantee the safety of Clara Oswald" thing just meant to be dramatic irony?
Good episode though, although Christ knows what they've got planned for the next two episodes if they're killing off the companion before the finale has even started.

Marsh. 22-11-2015 01:01 AM

Loved that episode. Best one this series. Maisie Williams gave a better performance than either of her other two episodes.

I didn't quite get the whole "it can be moved but not stopped completely" because if that's the case then why was Ashildr about to just remove it from Rigsy with no problem?

Marsh. 22-11-2015 01:01 AM

Apparently The Doctor was sent...

Spoiler:

to Gallifrey?

Apparently, spoilers for the final two episodes
Spoiler:

Timelords!

Marsh. 22-11-2015 01:11 AM

Would've shocked me more if we hadn't been told this was Clara's exit episode.

I spent the full episode expecting her to die.

Marsh. 22-11-2015 01:12 AM

Those 5 minutes looking for the trap street just gave me Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix flashbacks. Grimmauld Place.

Marsh. 22-11-2015 01:40 AM

Spoiler:

How likely is it that this episode was Clara's last appearance but not Jenna's? As one of the splinters?

Wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised tbh.

I thought the same thing :hehe:

Pete. 22-11-2015 06:40 AM

Spoiler:

Death Zone????!!!!

Anyway RE why she couldn't remove the tattoo, the guy told Clara the only way to have it removed was to get it taken off or to pass it on, there was something else about a clause but I didn't understand that lol.

I'm still holding out hope for Clara though, as she didn't run away from the raven and the man previously said 'why do they always run'

Next weeks episode had the synopsis about how
Spoiler:

The doctor is trapped inside a rotating mechanical castle and he has to face one final test and if he makes it, then gallifrey is waiting. so I do believe that the actual finale could be set on gallifrey if he passes the test.

Spoiler:

Ashildr said that the tattoo was a contract and while it was attached to Rigsy she could take it back but when Clara took it, the old contract was thrown out of the window which meant that Ashildr had no more power over it.

I think Clara's deader than dead but I think she'll turn up in the finale as a different character since she was scattered all over time in Season 7 and they'll bring that back up.

I think what's going to happen is that he'll meet the new Clara and then she'll want to come along with him but he'll turn her down because of what happened to Clara, he'll think that he made her the way she was and that her death was his fault.

Firewire 22-11-2015 10:13 AM

I know a lot of people didn't like her, but I thought Clara was a great companion. Much better than Amy.

Tom4784 22-11-2015 10:19 AM

Clara wasn't that interesting in Season 7 but she truly became great when she was paired up with Capaldi.
