Worth pointing out that last night's episode beat BBC1 which only pulled in 2.72m in the 9pm slot! :o
It was beaten by Midsummer Murders which got over 4m. This series really has been gold dust for channel 5. |

Any final rating predictions? Lowest rated Celebrity Big Brother final was 2.41m and the highest 3.71m. I'm putting it out there, I'm hoping for 3.80 officially. If the 'bombshell' is decent then it could set the final week up for some good peaks. Any thoughts?

4.2 for the final with Katie H, Katie P and Michelle fighting for the victory...

I'd absolutely love for the final to at least peak around 4.0 Million - that would be amazing! However, I'll be realistic and say an average of around 3.7/3.8 Million.

The final will be around 3.8/3.9 with maybe a peak of 4 million

I'd love to see Celebrity Big Brother do some sort of Jungle theme almost to annoy IAC, and show where and how it can go to great lengths with the right cast, only downside is that it airs right after, so people could get bored!
The way I see it, Summer CBB is there for the die-hards, most people I know who watch winter often forget summer. But who know's? Viacom have done good with this series (okay, so we still get the sh*** twists and tasks and need to allow celebs to go out of the house etc. the diehards hate, but it's pulling in the punters! Just had a haircut, and Perez and Hopkins were the topic of the whole place, it was so bizarre!!) They had a good theme, good design and good publicity. I truly believe all the show needs is a strong cast, not necessarily A listers, but A-egos! imo the only downside to this series is the lack of laughter, watching it every night for 2 hours (inc. BOTS) just get's me frustrated. And I HOPE CBB doesn't become stuck next year because we're now becoming so used to the show's drama, controversy and conflict.. |

Interesting to note.
22 of the 22 aired episodes have increased on the previous summer edition. 15 of the 22 aired episodes have increased on the previous winter edition. Comes 2nd and 3rd in it's slot most nights. Viacom's clear aim was stated to beat Channel 4 ratings wise. In terms of the 9pm slot, Channel 4 has nearly always rated 5th against the Big 5, while CBB was on. Just 240,000 behind BBC One last night. (Will it EVER happen!?) More than double the social interactions on twitter this series than compared with CBB13. BB AIN'T GOING NOWHERE HONEY |
It's great to see how the ratings are doing for this season. I hope that it keeps the show on air for years to come, however Kai you're right, it is just two hours a night of arguments and controversy, it would be nice to have some laughter and fun in there for a change!
Also, am I right in thinking that the launch show got 3.65 million viewers in officials? I was reading this article and noticed that it claims the launch got 6 million viewers... http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/19b36cda-a...#axzz3QEf19ZLB |
