Hopefully it's ignored. Graham should only care about the BBC's opinion, and they know his humour is a signifcant part of why people enjoy the contest. He's far more important than any producer of the contest anyway :p

They owe us an apology

EspeonBB 22-04-2016 02:29 PM

So Terry Wogan's Eurovision commentary has been attacked by the Swedish producer of the contest. I do agree that his attitude towards the show grew a little tiresome towards the end of his stint, but it's peeved me off that he would attack Wogan's legacy so soon after his death. He was a legend in regard to the contest and most of what he said was in British humour.

Now Graham Norton has been told not to 'poke fun at the contestants' because it 'ruins the contest'.

That's literally all I watch the Eurovision for :hehe:

ETA : Terry Wogan was Irish not British :nono:

well i watch Eurovision also for fun and for the friendships that exist between some singers :)

Braden 22-04-2016 05:34 PM

Sorry Niamh :joker:

I feel so sorry for the Romanian act. He's already done promotional work for the contest, been interviewed and flew out to other countries. He must be so gutted.

Denver 26-04-2016 05:12 PM

Just 2 weeks away

Denver 26-04-2016 05:13 PM

The Romanian act has been offered the chance to join the Moldovan act and make it a duet

Braden 26-04-2016 05:52 PM

@ the contest being two weeks away

Nicky91 27-04-2016 07:56 AM

I had a dream early this morning that Bulgaria won this years Eurovision.

Am I a prophecy? We'll soon find out.

I would honestly love for this to happen
Poli is so sweet she deserves it and Bulgaria did a pretty good job at hosting JESC staging wise etc

well to me personally i would be happy with Bulgaria if they won, but my personal winner is Malta with Ira Losco, now with a great team behind her, 4 amazing backing singers in her team, including Molly Pettersson Hammar and Skorpion Dancer will be with her on stage :)

but i agree Poli is really sweet and she's just cool

Ira is also a sweet classy lady, also down to earth and a warm person, she's already good friends with Hovi, Iveta and Samra and also with Barei :)

but also during the Moscow Party, Sergey gave his coat to Ira

I also quite like the group Argo, they seem quite fun and likeable people :)

You better ****ing had be!

I'm still hoping we get a 2014 and we have an Austria vs Netherlands (not specifically them this year bc they're both zzzz entries) with two countries that weren't really talked about who just happen to kill it on their semi finals and become the favourites. Because the thought of Sweden vs Russia vs France is tragic and I will need lots of vodka.

Sweden is just awful this year

Russia is just awkward listening to, dated and boring

France is just a good looking guy with a one in a dozen pop song

for me i want it to be between Bulgaria and Malta and Croatia, would you agree Lucas :)

Firewire 01-05-2016 12:19 PM

Bulgaria vs Czech Republic?

Malta has got a really nice current song and is first on Lys Assia's top 20, well respect for Lys, for not putting Russia, Sweden and France on top :clap1: :clap1:

Firewire 01-05-2016 12:30 PM

Eurovision is basically next week if you consider Sunday as the start of the current week
