I know!
Miss Trunchball!
I can't believe anyone would let themselves look as awful as she did in Matilda.
I mean, they made her look all sweaty, red and vile.
It was hilarious.

What an epic film!

Last film I watched all the way through was last night, Vertigo (1958), starring Kim Novak and James Stewart.

Vertigo is brilliant film, The laurel and hardy, can't remember what its was called but they were in a lodging house in the snow, kept waking the owner and ended up blowing up the bed!

Into the Storm. Fairly well executed dramatisation of Winston Churchill's first term as Prime Minister of the UK during WWII which, athough being elevated by a great cast and high production values, seemed a little too lacklustre and threadbare in characterisation and intensity, due largely to the by-the-numbers approach to the material. I would have liked a little bit more balls and less reverence. Still, interesting to see an Irishman in the lead role!

In America is a fantastic film. I love how it's from the angle of the girls a lot too. It's a really sweet film.
