Jessica Pegula's new coach is former doubles ace from Bahamas: Mark Knowles
apparently alongside one other from bahamas: Mark Merklein i always used to like Knowles in the doubles :flutter: yeah something wasn't working that well anymore with her previous coach David Witt, towards the end of 2023 her form kinda got a bit mediocre she's now competing in Rosmalen, where she is #1 seeded |

But if it gets her a few likes on Twitter, eh? |
its more like
Keeping Up With The Raducanu's on her instagram  more like got reality star/influencer potential than tennis superstar meanwhile Iga Swiatek keeps slaying and yet Raducanu remains more marketable somehow :idc: i like Swiatek more than Raducanu too, much more a relatable girl next door vibe there too, whereas with Emma i find her too ''hollywood glamour puss'' vibe most of the time but no, my no.1 fave remains Pegula, despite coming from a billionaire family, she is soooo down to earth, funny with her whole drinking a heineken post match at press conferences, she got such cool taste in choice of home, styling of her home, her pool and garden, and a dog mamma so we gotta stan :D i don't care if Pegula wins a slam or not, i'm already happy she broken through as a top ranked player now, i am one who stanned her when she was still under the radar, and no i didn't know she was from a well off background back then also her daddy owning the buffalo bills (they are a strong nfl team tbh) |
Raducanu wins Eastbourne tournament

When does Wimbledon start ?

Just watching this character live at Wimbledon and wondered … WHY ?
Then I noticed that he has a ‘prominent’ nose and it reminded me of a theory that quite often when you see these weird peacock hairdoos or crazy fringes the person often has a distinctive snozzle So in essence its a distraction technique Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Lucky Raducanu
4 -2 To the Mexican. |
Now they are even on a game
|
Emma Raducanu Won
She beat the Mexican. |

I love her courage and style of play but she ain’t English or British. Plus her opponent looked decidedly podgy and slow around the court I have no sympathy for athletes who are not dedicated to their trade Tennis players need be ripped and super fit to win two hour matches ( women) or 4 hours + (men) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Andy Murray will team up with Emma Raducanu in the Wimbledon mixed doubles
!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
Anyone know when they will be playing !! ??
Please post here if you see anything Ta Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
I'm glad to see that Raducanu is actually trying this tournament.
And you can't argue that she isn't physically fit either:hehe: @Zizu But it's a miracle to see Raducanu not pulling out of tournaments, hopefully she can keep it up. |

She has such an unfortunate time since she shocked the world by winning the US title In the last 15 months she’s had operations on both wrists and one ankle !! She looks extremely fit ( tennis-wise Mog lol) So she has a chance of winning Wimbledon Singles on behalf of Romania / China or Canada at a pinch Maybe even the mixed doubles with Andy Murray ! I hope that she can do well at the singles though. |
Raducanu has only played doubles once before and was terrible but it will be a crowd pleaser
Yesterday must be the best she has played since the US Open win probably, she was on fire |

i like Raducanu, she seems like a really nice girl that is grounded in reality. She has had a tough time since she won the US open, and she is still there and trying, just happy to be playing tennis

Born in Canada to Romanian/Chinese parents. Her family moved to England when she was around two years old but she holds British and Canadian citizenship. She is fluent in Mandarin and Romanian. Hardly sounds like a typical English rose .. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

It says that her parents moved her to the UK at two years old, culturally she is very British. |

Well Lewis Hamilton has spent the majority of his life living in Principality of Monaco .. so I guess he’s not English then … Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Grown up and lived 90% of her like in the UK and now competing at Wimbledon, we should be very pleased to have her as a Brit |

Pegula today vs chinese Xin Wang
she won her R1 match convincingly over fellow american Krueger (6-2, 6-0) Swiatek today vs croatian Petra Martic i love it when those pundits seem to think they know their stuff about wimbledon :hehe: Balding: yes Iga will struggle vs Kenin in reality: Iga winning without much trouble over Kenin  |

When will they learn that to compete with the top players they have to be in tip-top condition !!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

too bad but not the end of the world, didn't expect much from Iga on grass anyway
time to prep now for the Olympics  where she plays in both singles and in mixed doubles with Hubert Hurkacz (top ranked ATP player) at least she survived first two rounds so it ain't a complete embarrassment either (and no i don't care about what her haters have to say) and you can't win everything  22 yrs old and already this successful is still very much amazing |
If Swiatek is that young, then she'll have plenty more opportunities to win Wimbledon.
Good luck to her. |
Claire Balding gushing over Emma Raducanu there .. couldn’t contain her excitement
Last Brit left in singles Why is she losing the word CLUTCH so often and what the hell does it mean these days It used to be used when describing bird’s eggs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
