The ronnie story is becoming boring now

Vicky. 07-07-2011 07:29 PM

First time I have watched eastenders in a long time...only watched it because the mother in laws here

Quite enjoyed it actually.

Laurens such a little bitch now, since the last time i watched it. Self centered spoilt brat :hmph:

InOne 07-07-2011 07:42 PM

Lauren is hot :amazed:

Didn't really like the way Michael was revealed, wasn't as dramatic as I expected.

I watched EastEnders tonight for the 1st time since the live episode, it was really sad to see Ronnie be sent down :(

Kerry 07-07-2011 08:19 PM

Knew she'd get Julia's theme. I liked the little smile she gave at the end though :)

Wonder if they'll keep mentioning her etc? Like Roxy saying she's going to visit her or something? Or if they'll just say she's refusing visits then stop? :conf:

'Conor 07-07-2011 08:20 PM

I would say Ronnie will be mentioned for a while..

Kerry 07-07-2011 08:24 PM

I can't see how Michael could stick around now but I'm assuming he is

bbfan1991 07-07-2011 09:14 PM

That was so sad:(. I will miss Ronnie, will miss her a lot and I imagine she gets treatment for her mental state in the imaginary fictional Walford prison:joker:.

Glad Kat forgave her but the writers have ruined Kat's character through this storyline too..

The Best Exits programme was so epic, Dirty Den's first one then the return and that murder, Phil and Grant's crash, Peggy's poignant departure, Stacey leaving on Christmas day etc:love:.

Classic EastEnders drama, why I prefer this show over Coronation Street anyday:p.

Definitely, it's good at hooking the audience, whereas I only tend to watch Coronation Street for certain storyline's and when an irrelevant part comes on I lose track of what is going on.

It's hard hitting, gritty and there is the odd happy moments but EastEnders do it their own special way. Noticed more lighter scenes now under Kirkwood though.

Yeah, there has definitely been a lot more comedy and it's a little bit more 'life-like' than what it was.

The comedy doesn't feel forced or contrived as it was before, Corrie is the humorous soap but i've cringed at some of the things they have done but of course most of the time they are funny.

Locke. 08-07-2011 07:26 PM

What's with all the dodgy camera angles tonight?

bbfan1991 08-07-2011 11:43 PM

Heard that Amira might be returning because Preeya Kalidas has a ''special announcement'' to make on this day. Grr Amira was a plot device for Christian and Syed, apart from her pregnancy she's not really needed back:sleep::mad:.

Shabnam should be the one coming back, recast if the original actress does not want to return.

Kerry 08-07-2011 11:51 PM

Cannot for the life of me remember what Shabnam looked like. Everytime I imagine her I think of Layla in Emmerdale!

Can't remember her

She still doesn't look that familiar yet I remember her character. How odd

InOne 08-07-2011 11:55 PM

More Poppy and Lauren is needed.

Maybe they'll go on a slutty night out or something :amazed:

EE is lacking big time in birds at the moment :bored:

bbfan1991 08-07-2011 11:57 PM

Shabnam was a rebel, she used to hang around with Dawn going clubbing and seeing some guys which annoyed Zainab so much:joker:. She eventually calmed down and went to Pakistan.

Jords 09-07-2011 02:28 AM

Ronnie's court case hour long episode was executed really well and the emotion was portrayed well.

1 of the great soap characters of recent times!
