I'm guessing the production team like the flare-ups.

Time and time again he's reacted crazily to the tiniest of issues, been aggressive for little reason, threatened others, thrown water at others, poured oil onto people's beds (WTF?!), screamed in people's faces ... the list is pretty much endless.

If Marcus did 1/10th of what Rodders did, he'd have been booted out by now. Rodrigo has zero temper control and just goes wild, he's a menace and an actual threat to the HMs at times!

This maniac hides behind the cute, innocent, fluffy little camp boy persona rather well.

What do you guys think of Rodders? I think this 'but he got provoked' BS has been a cover-up. Everyone gets teased a little, has been joked about, faces issues, etc. He's an utter freak IMO.

I would love him to come round mine and tell me to sut up you sut up little weirdo

The boy needs anger management, he is totally out of control at times, apologising the next day is too late, he needs to get a grip.

I totally disagree with your post. Rodrigo is no way agressive. He has a temper when provoked. Most of the arguments he has been involved in have been instigated by Charlie pushing things to far and often using agression against him ie when Charlie manhandled him to get him in the pool.

I think Rodrigo handles arguments very well. He often thinks about them afterwards and has the ability to laugh at himself and apoligise if he thinks he was in the wrong. a very nice trait.

I want Rodrigo to win as he has entertained me the most. He is genuine, an individual that forms his own opinions and is not led by others,a very good friend, feisty and never scared to voice an opinion sometimes to his detriment, and he is extremely cute.

What more can you want in a winner!
So when Marcus told him to shut up at the table when he was putting Marcus off the shopping list and Rodrigo goes into another "don't tell me to shut up, don't ever tell me to shut up, who is this guy?, you idiot, you idiot......" is no way aggressve?:sleep::sleep:
Drama queen....

Hes a little twat ive decided

keithafc 25-08-2009 11:40 PM

He comes across as one of them knob head's but again, he argues, defends his corner and fair play in that regard but he then makes up the next day and i can relate to that in many ways. I have no doubt many people on here argue with family members and then make up straight away or a few hours later or the next morning.

Roddy DOES have anger issues, but that's never been anything he denies. Charlie has added fuel to his fire for weeks, and Rodrigo even said that Charlie knows how angry he gets, and doesn't care.
There have been times when Roddy's been out of order I won't deny that - the throwing of water and oil was uncalled for, but Charlie must be so irritating to live with.
Plus as a lot of people (including the housemates) have said for weeks, it's one trying to get the better of the other.

If he wasnt so 'cute' looking I doubt he would have gotten away with as much as he has. Just think.. if it was Marcus acting that way, would they have let him get away with it? No ways
If you were married to him? would you be in the position that you tell yourself that "well he's cute..and I love him when he's so cute" whilst still waiting for him to lose it again? I would be scared too.

For start Rodrigo is not a boy. He is a man of 23 (24 later this year I think). He is older than Charlie and Sophie and the same age as Siavash.

He seems to have an authoritarian streak to him. He reminds me of one of our art teachers when I was at school (many years ago!) The chap was about the same height/build as Rodrigo and was, I think, Spanish in origin. he too had a habit of shouting and pointing if any of us transgressed. Despite his small stature, everyone was terrified of him!

You gotta bear in mind he has a different culture to the others, and so he probably doesn't appreciate a lot of the antics.
