I love that bit. er you know that person, er el proximo or something..lol what where you're questions? All I read were attacks but.. Ok Poxie 1) So Marcus changed in the BB house, shock horror!! Maybe it took time to settle into the house, know where the boundries lie, figure out the contestants and slowly bring his real charactor through. People change day to day. 2) Can't a rebel be happy and acknowledge his fanbase? Did you want James Dean kicking and spitting at the papz? |

[rquote=2519095&tid=145529&author=myopinioncounts]Just read some more responses. Sheesh! I'm not here for drama, just debate. Shaswn or whatever your name is, read the OP again, and then give an objective reply, instead of simply going on the OTT defence. Same goes for the rest of you who are having a heart attack over this thread lol.[/rquote]
You really must rate yourself to think people will be having heart attacks in response to your post. When did Marcus say he was a rebel? Didnt he say he would play BB as a game because thats what it really was, didnt he also say what happens in the house stays in the house. As for the tasks etc, Marcus always said throughout the early part of his stay in the house, to put maximum effort into the task, would produce better results, getting the task sorted earlier and would allow the housemates to feel a greater sense of acheivement. Towards the end of his stay, he probably was a bit hacked off with some of the other housemates and thought why bother. As for when Marcus came out of the house he didnt try to shake peoples hands, he did indeed shake people's hands. This was because people offered him their hands, according to you that is him trying to ingratiate himself with the public. As for the two threads you posted neither was started by Marcus he simply responds to them, but you will notice in the second he is honest and open, thats if you needed to read them to "know" the content. I bow to your superior intellect as well as to El proximo, after all this is she poster who didnt realise the prize for the winner was in pounds sterling and not in dollars. If neither of you can accept they go in to the house to partake in a game show and play it the way they decide to, then i would suggest therapy. A good reality check sounds like what the doctor ordered for both of your personalities. |
@ myopinioncounts
marcus said all the time in the house to other Housemates i.e " come on freddie use your big brother brain" he also said that "what happens in the house stays in the house" people look to much in to what was said and done, you cant say he was not entertaning with is rants in the diary room that is unless your a fully fleged member of the god squad? marcus was just another house mate to start with that done somthing the other 165 before him never did he took the pi** out of BB and got the better of him more than they got the better than marcus! forget about stupid little things he changed or he done this or that all the housemates did not just marcus! anyone would be the same the 1st few week to get to know the others better and know who you could rub up the wrong way or not once people get to feel closer the whole dinamics of the housemates change. marcus was a good housemate one if not most memrable HM's of all time for lots of people. people call lots of people ledgends, but the truthg is you can not be a ledgend unless your dead, but people like to have a bit of fun and if they want to call marcus a ledgend then let them do it why would someone kick up a fuss trying to dissprove them as being a ledgend? as i have said to be a legend some one must be dead to start with! |

Listen up, I actually LIKE Marcus believe it or not! He was a good housemate.
However, this thread is intended to show that he isn't the rebel he appeared as in the house, hence why he was a stickler for the rules in the early weeks and even had a problem with Sree for not taking them ''seriously'' enough. If he broke the rules and stuck the finger to BB from the get-go, you all might have a point, but he didn't. If anything, he came across like a control freak from the way he spoke to Sree and took the tasks so seriously. So again, read the post and look at it objectively. Marcus is not the ''rebel'' he is made out to be. Of course, that's just my opinion, but it is argued in a fair and balanced manner, which no body can deny. |
myopinioncounts do you read the replies?
I truly believe nut has answered your question. It just seems you want to garner support. If he acted like he did at the beginning like he did at the end then he would've been pushed out a long time ago. The guy knows BB and he had a smile (most of the time) on his lips. But don't listen to me, read nut comment again, I couldn't have wrote it better myself. |

Environmental adjustment is well researched/documented...all mammals engage in it. It's an evolutionary gig. It's wise to be cautious in new environments; give's one time to asses etc. It's why people tend to feel a little tentative in new jobs; parties where we dont no anyone; kids entering school etc. Do i need to go on or do you need more 'help' and further 'instruction'? Marcus displayed a healthy response is all(as did all the other HMs) Now if you possess any kind of logic at all you will realise that the later 'rebelious' Marcus was the 'real' Marcus...or at least a persona created by Marcus for the entertainment of others and taking part in a game show...i.e. it is very likely the 'rebelious' Marcus is a constructed persona by Marcus Akin based on his root personality.... I do have the feeling though that the above 'explanation' is gonna be lost on you and your daft palls who have also slavered their inadequate and stunted misonformed 'arguments' all over this thread! |
