X-Factor heartthrob Olly Murs has been left red faced on the web after private snaps surfaced appearing to show him horsing around in his underwear.

Simon Cowell's popular front runner is allegedly seen busting out some of his best moves in his fancy comic strip pants as he does some rowing exercises.

Another cheeky snap shows the pasty star pulling a cheeky wedgie flash

The 25-year-old Essex boy is also seen chatting in his briefs whilst on the phone with another homing in on the finer details of his coloured Y-fronts.

Meanwhile in other X-Factor news, Cheryl Cole has cemented her budding friendship with rival judge Dannii Minogue by splashing out on a pair of £700 Louboutin shoes as a 38th birthday treat for the Aussie star.

A thrilled Dannii showed the snaps off on her Twitter, writing: 'Birthday present from Mrs Cole – LOVELY J'Adore!!!! X x x x X'
