I get that people will laugh initially when they see this, but I honestly dont understand how someone can actually make a post laughing and making fun of someone who just got punched hard by some randomer for absolutely no reason?

Adamw92 14-10-2009 09:58 PM

Sick human being, how could you hit Leona Lewis, she wouldnt hurt a fly, what a prick

Sticks 15-10-2009 07:14 AM

What is appalling is that there are some condoning the unprovoked attack on someone else.

I did not watch the show, nor have I heard their music, but it should not matter who they are, this was a criminal offence, and to cheer on the assailant is beyond the pale.

What we need to find out is why this individual did this, and going by some of the responses here, it is obvious that some take things too far. Remember that rule about not threatening violence against a BB housemate, it's there for a reason.

I saw it on the news this morning how awfull is that.

Sticks 15-10-2009 05:44 PM

The latest is that the attacker has been sectioned under mental health act

Which is probably a defense to get away with it! That would be appaling if it goes unpunished.

Iceman 15-10-2009 05:49 PM

I feel pretty bad for her now, but still like I said price of fame....

Innocent people get hurt all the time, it's nothing new.

That is the prosecution authority detaining him, not a defence lawyer.

It is a funny thing (imagining it) but it would have been scary as hell, I feel sorry for her now

She has apparently cancelled a tour cause of it (Source)

InOne 15-10-2009 06:30 PM

Some footage of it. http://www.showbizspy.com/article/19...tch-video.html

Speaking as someone who was also a victim of a violent assault some years ago, there is a desire afterwards not to go out anywhere and hide away from the world. It would not be surprising if she finds herself too frightened to leaver her house.

Sticks 16-10-2009 12:40 PM

This latest update should gives us some understanding of why

Quote:

The man who punched Leona Lewis, the former X Factor winner, in the head during a book signing was a reject from the talent show, it has been claimed.

Peter Kowalczyk, 29, was jealous of the fact that Lewis won the ITV1 talent show while he was turned down, according to The Sun.

The 24-year-old singer was signing copies of her autobiography at a branch of Waterstone's in Piccadilly, central London, on Wednesday when the man suddenly lashed out.
So motive is revenge? From what other who know him have said, it does seem that he is suffering some kind of mental illness, hence the sectioning.

It is cold comfort, but if anyone else had won that competition, they would still have been on his hit list.

Iceman 16-10-2009 01:25 PM

wrong place for leona, could have been any x factor star...

Braden 16-10-2009 03:16 PM

apprently the man shouted out i love you leona
but she replied saying well i don't love you !

Iceman 16-10-2009 03:19 PM

well id say she has some lump on her head, she's wearing a huge hat in the pic i saw...

fair play for going out in public so soon, the longer she would have left it the harder it would have been.

alc09 16-10-2009 03:28 PM

Why the **** has she got out an autobiography anyway?

Who does she think she is FFS.

What an absolute joke that is.

InOne 16-10-2009 03:34 PM

Everyone seems to have a biography, thinking that we actually give a flying toss about their life.

alc09 16-10-2009 03:36 PM

Yeah, but I mean Leona ****ing Lewis.

Who gives a **** about her.

The genuine fans who queued up to buy her book purchance

Don't criticise, this book was probably ordered as part of the record company's marketing strategy.

Even if you think she is too young to sell an autobiography, that does justify assault involving actual bodily harm.

alc09 16-10-2009 04:40 PM

Did I say that it justified her being punched in the face?

Yeah it is disgusting. I don't condone violence in any way shape or form. Poor Leona and poor everyone else celebrity or non celebrity who has been in this position. Such jealous horrible sicko's out there.

M X 16-10-2009 11:40 PM

I'm glad he's been sectioned, he needs serious help A.S.A.P, Love You Leona! XxX

Tom4784 16-10-2009 11:43 PM

I feel sorry for her and hope she manages to get over it soon but people go through worse daily, I'm sure that the circle of burly bodyguards will make her feel better.
