In Bruges was decent IMO but not that good. Saw both this and Leon in college, didnt think In Bruges was brilliant though.

Very happy for the rating of District 9, possibly the one only film that i enjoyed watching in 2009 in the cinema.

The song in the film, i dont know what the actual instrumental of it is, but the song is Seal- My Vision. Such a good film. The film was #1 on IMDB for years now, so right before he Dark Knight came out, its got a very strong fan base.

Ben? Just get out. Remakes are RARELY ever good the only good ones I can think of are:

Dawn of the Dead - It's brilliant and it managed to **** all over the original.
The Ring - It was on par with the Japanese original.
Friday the 13th - It was on par with the original although that's not hard really.

If anyone can think of any more please say sicne my mind's gone blank.

Most remakes are rushed and made as quickly and cheaply as possible to get a quick buck out of an audience that's familiar with the originals.

Yeah, Mean Girls was great for what it was but it's not one of the best films ever.

From what ive seen i have watched a couple of them and liked them.
a couple of westerns have been good but generally ive not liked many.

I've only watched the remake of Miracle on 34th street so I can't comment on the original.

I much preffered the remake.

That being it was just more modern.. natually, which i can relate to easier.

This is why I sneer at people's choice polls.
