Well now saying that he DIDN'T get no.1 conflicts with the OP. That's why I didn't understand why he had failed.

To be fair though it was thye first series and getting a Xmas number one wasnt the biggest agenda then.

Since when did getting the Christmas no 1 become so important? He is a winner - because he won the x-factor! How many people can say that! I bet you never win the x-factor Patrick! So what does that make you then?
