i agree, he was totally devoid of character during the hunk task, barking out orders like the elephant man..

He wasn't mean to them at all, Vinnie is a joker and kept making comments that got a laugh from other housemates.
And no, if anything he doesn't like being the center of attention, that's why he keeps himself to himself and does odd jobs like washing the dishes and laying the table, he said in yesterday's show to Stephanie that he was staying out of things more as he didn't want to be involved by doing housework.

he does the manual labour tasks because thats where his talent lies, it certainly isnt in films...

also he is too thick to have discussions in the living room so hides behind dirty dishes and pretends to be busy

if he wins it it will be worse than ulrika winning

Beastie 11-01-2010 04:37 PM

Vinnie will do Katia up the bum.

arista 11-01-2010 04:38 PM

that was years ago.

He is a Movie Star now

Beastie 11-01-2010 04:38 PM

I would not mind seeing Stephen, Sov or Nicola winning :D

Exactly. All he knows is intimidation and bullying. He doesn't have the brains to get involved in a discussion. this is exactly why he felt the need to try and re-establish his authority during the hunk off.

Chels - What are you watching - usually you are so on it!!!

People often say nasty things - then claim 'it was just a laugh' - bullies do it all the time! I wouldn't put too much faith in that if I were you!

perhaps in films where he plays himself e.g thug in lock stock

i cannot envisage the royal shakespeare company requesting his acting talents anytime soon

No like he said it's because he feels he keeps himself out of the way by doing the housework.
Is there any need to insult him? How is he "thick" anyway do you know him personally? And also he said to Stephanie yesterday that's he's starting to come out of his shell a lot more and is talking more often, so you're "too thick to have discussions" theory goes down the drain.
And unfortunately for you, Vinnie is loved by a lot of people and therefore has a very good chance of winning.

Thing is he didn't claim he was having a laugh, his body langauage and his facial expression said it all.
He obviously was joking. He has to live with these people, is he really going to abuse them all?

That's all you have to say?
You couldn't attack any of the points I just pointed out?
And you do realise some newspapers can talk a load of bull right?

setanta 11-01-2010 04:43 PM

Vinnie was a gorilla on the pitch and off during his playing days. I'd be surprised if it wasn't the same case now.

Yes but do you know the meaning of the word "the past?"
He's a different guy recently, he hasn't "attacked" anybody for over 10 years.

Don't think so. The capacity for violence never just goes away with men of his nature.

 Don't be so ridiculous.
I don't think he would attack a 16 year old girl :joker:

And do I really have to repeat myself? He seems to have grown up a bit from his thug days.

My Dad was a lot like him in his heyday too. Apart from the fact my Dad is not a footballer of course.
He was a bit of a "gorrila" too, he's changed a lot and has turned his life around.
