I mean that on a much broader scale, though. It seems there are a number of people who are supporting housemates based on what they're like outside the house, and this is the main reason why I've always preffered Big Brother to Celebrity Big Brother. I understand people are always going to support their favourite celebrities regardless but I feel that sometimes they're receiving support and they haven't even done anything to entertain anyone, i.e Jimmy White in IAC (and I'm a big snooker fan, too) and Martina in IAC as well.

I agree Jack, loads of people are supporting Vinnie and quite frankly, he has done sod all! And I cant stand all this, 'what a legend' and 'vinnie is on fire' when he says a sentence, its ridiculous. Dont get me wrong, its fair to say you support him because you liked him before entering the house [like I did with Sov], but going OTT when hes done nothing is silly. I like the guy though, but at the moment I could see him being a winner for no reason. And I think Sov has been really quite likable within the house. :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. This is mainly what I'm referring to, if I'm honest. Although, credit where credit is due, he was quite funny last night - so let's hope he comes out of his shell a bit more in the next few days. Sov has been a lot more entertaining, too. Oh, and before anyone mentions it, if Calvin Harris had've gone in, yes, I would obviously be supporting him, but if it turned out that he did **** all, then I wouldn't, and would start to support someone who did. I'd still be a fan of him, and his music, just not his ability to entertain me.

You are the one that resorts to certain behaviours ie name calling when things aren't going your way. As a woman, I understandably resent sexist remarks - and am entitled to a reply. Your remarks towards Katia were clearly crude and sexist.

If you had used words of a similar type towards Jonas and did not keep calling Vinnie, who has a history of similar behaviour, a legend - it would not have been an issue. It is an issue for me, because of the blatant double standards. If you continue to make such obvious sexist remarks - then you have to expect that some members will pull you up on that. To deny they were sexist - just makes you look either dishonest, or simply stupid. Sorry, but true.
