**** me, how heartless are you. The entire country with a population of 146 million has been entirely demolished and you have the arrogance to say you're bored of hearing about it? Naturally people want to hear about it, especially the many who have donated sums of money towards helping it.

I do think its sad, but I don't think its justified to be still headlining a week on, well apart from today when theres been another earthquake. But then that lessens the impact of another earthquake. If it was moved to second or third or something then bumped back up to headlining then people would find it more shocking. I've nothing against updates, but when its still dominating the news and all we're finding out is "the death toll is rising" day after day, it becomes sameish and we already know.

YOu can easily watch other things. If youre bored about people talking about Haiti, just flip the channel to something else. The digital age, allows us to do that. Switch off if something is not interesting. There is the Tennis open 24/7, there are other news channels, and Tivo, and all the different other alternatives nowadays. I can easily go online and watch any news that I deem worthy of me watching it. There are always Worldwide impacting events, that will always be bombarded in the news! (Haiti earthquake. (911, london attack, Hurricane Katrina, etc...)
If a lot of people in this world, consider, this, the most newsworthy event, even a month after the fact, I dont see whats the problem. NOt very difficult to not bother.
Personally, nothing on TV can ever get me bored these days. I am only subected to it, if I so choose to be.

I've got nothing to fill the gap inbetween Loose Women and 60 Minute Makeover

Tragic lack of compassion, really. If you're bored of it, a) turn off and b) shame on you.

Big Brother is on at 10, I prefer watching it at 1.30 and 6.30. And I do sometimes look for other things, but a) I'm too lazy to read and b) every news source is the same anyway in terms of the stories
